I think it does, though I have to confess I had deluded myself into thinking we’d get a new 5* Janeway as the ranked reward from an Alpha and Omega rerun so a *smidge* disappointed.
Will all Discovery crew be bonus crew in the event Mirror Landry is or can we freeze our Discovery crew that are not Landry?
Remember, the rank 5* isn't part of the event in which they're earned, so this would really be applicable to the following event. Not being part of a mega-event, I'd be surprised if anyone other than Commander Ellen Landry gets the bonus, but that's just me guessing along with DB.
Yes that is the one I need the info for. Not the one where we earn Landry but the one where the new Landry will be event crew. Not current event, or the Tuvok event next week but the event after that.

Considering sitting this one out; I already have all 3 older crew immortalized, I won't be getting Tuvok in the last of the mega event, and I'm not excited about Mirror Landry.
@Shan, will Janeway be at 350k in the thresholds again? As has been previously pointed out, having the repeat legendary so high in the thresholds means a lot of players don't get the option to DYC on both event legendarys. I was just wondering if this is something DB has taken into consideration since it was mentioned during the last rerun.

If you want to spend the money that badly, just don’t claim your ranked rewards until the 24 hours has gone by.

I'm doing good, but for the first time ever I actually have a lot of the event crew up at 4/5 or 5/5, so I'm probably not a good benchmark (final seat assignments are below, though I only used the rentals a couple of times to get to say I used Son of None and Captain Pike at least once in their lives...).
Thinking it would have been really hard without Culber and/or Katrina; those MED seats were rough and Siranna is just so-so at filling them. Anyone else kind of washes out the benefits of a Kol or Pike 3x seat, and once again all the Discovery SCI crew are missing in action, like the earlier faction (unfortunate...)

Looking ahead to next week it looks like Sisko depth will make a big difference. Even with them it looks like I'll be dipping into non-event crew pretty quickly. IIRC other than Klingon Janeway there really aren't any killer 5* Janeways yet, right?

18 total, two of which will likely remain on ice because they aren’t really going to be better than non-bonus crew and aren’t worth the cost of unfreezing.
Looking through the mission list from the last time around, the only skill that might be problematic is MED, as I believe the only bonus crew with MED is Hippocrates Noah. There are a handful of ENG slots as well, which I suppose could be avoided at the cost of extra transmissions for those of us without Solar Sails Sisko or a strong non-bonus engineer.

The app allows me to link these together: events may have faction missions, faction missions have seats, and seats get assigned to crew. Because it's evolved over time the underlying database structure / scripting is quite a hairball of overkill, retired, or "only I can make sense of it" features. At some point this year I'm thinking about starting a clean, stripped down version and offering as a template to anyone who wants to start their own using the Ninox app. The hard part will be repairing / pruning my existing code while still retaining all of the possible game crew, which I've added bit by bit over the last few months and is the real time-sink.... watch this space
If you are low on crew, why fill the 5 seaters at all? load up on Faction Transmissions before the event, then skip the 5-seaters...
Another option is to open 8 shuttles of both factions and then only run the 3 seaters from each faction. 4 shuttles x 3 event crew is easier than 2 x 3 and 2 x 4. Merits aren't hard to come by (daily/gauntlet/events) and you only have to re-open the other 6 missions (per faction) when they expire (so every 12 hours).
It is much easier this way (imo) to keep your shuttles staffed with an optimal mix of crew. Complete one, re-open it, staff and send. Wash, rinse repeat for the next 3.
