I’ll participate to get honor and supplies, that’s all. The 180k threshold would be nice but I don’t even know if I want to waste boosts on a kickstart, never mind chasing rank or higher thresholds.
Assuming you have four shuttles.
Open and launch four shuttles of your chosen faction. (1 min each)
Open all the other faction missions, but don't launch.
Recover your original four shuttles, and relaunch them, they will be the same missions. (20 min each)
Recover and relaunch (1 hour)
Recover and relaunch (2 hours)
Assuming a 100% pass rate, your next shuttles will take 3 hours.
Launch and recover all the other missions, these will take a minute each.
After less than four hours, you should be between 2750 and 4000 VP per shuttle, with no boosters used (depending upon the total amount of missions in the event).
This weekend I will participate in the event without actually competing or caring. I run shuttles constantly anyway and haven't farmed S31 or Terran for awhile, so it would be great to stock up on their faction items.
On the positive side, I have a deep enough crew that should allow me to clear thresholds, unless I choose to favor sleep over shuttle alarms all weekend.
On the negative side, I have both 4* crew immortalized and don't really care for either of the 5* crew that are available this weekend (Agent Janeway would be new for me). I was gung-ho to finish a second copy of Noah if he was the threshold reward, but now I don't see much reason to finish second copies of Noah or Ro.

And here I was just going to bull ahead four missions at a time...thank you, kind sir!
The very best way to express how insulting their response to the Janeway Issue is is to prove them wrong.
What was the Janeway issue?
9/10 of the players voting indicated 400,000 Points is way too high for a two year old Legendary in a Rerun Event.
DB's response was basically "Helically wound fastening device you guys. She is staying where she is because y'all are stupid enough to grind for her."
I'd hardly consider that an issue. Players voted for easier free stuff, DB said, thanks for your feedback but we think the harder free stuff is achieving our goals better.
The suggestion was entirely in the players benefit, so of course players all voted for it. DB can't be expected to make every change suggested just because the players want it.

But you might think DB would want to recoup lost sales and improve engagement, no?
I’m all set with the event Janeway and 4*s too.
So I’m sitting this one out and just run shuttles normally
Wow you have the Lucille Davenport Janeway too. She has decent stats but not great. I was a bit disappointed because she does not seem worth the amount of honor I would have to use to get her.

Keep in mind that the honor spent to acquire Lucille would go towards getting several powerful 5* crew and a couple useful 4* crew as well. I have Lucille at 1/5* thanks in no small part to immortal copies of RAF O’Brien and Delta Flyer Paris.

What lost sales? And how does making the crew easier to achieve improve engagement? Shan said they're happy with the participation and competition in the current events. Is it possible that they've measured engagement and providing a 5* crew at 400k yields more engagement than a 5* crew at 100k? It certainly seems reasonable to me that a higher target results in more players playing for that target.

If people aren’t getting the 5*, they are not buying DYCs. And if people are saying that they aren’t going to bother at all with the event since the 5* is too expensive to acquire, they don’t have a reason to buy boost packs or special offers. Putting the 5* at 400k means that only the people not entirely discouraged from playing are pushing harder to reach that level; this may indeed yield better short-term profits but I submit that it harms long-term profits by not cultivating more people into willing spenders.

When they released her collection, I already had all of them, 3 were FF/FE. So it was quick when I eventually got her FF/FE. I lucked out bigtime.
She's actually been on a few voyages too. She was not hare to FE, and the extra copies came from completing the collection, which has a few useful crew.

The facial likeness of Rekha Sharma is fantastic, but the body is...off. The posture, the lighting, even the proportions all feel strange. Being SEC/CMD doesn't really add much to my crew, either. Still, she's both Mirror and Disco, two subsets I collect, so I'm going after her and hoping a lot of establish players bail after the thresholds.
Less than 10 hours into the event.
15% towards completing thresholds, and my shuttles are now in the 4K neighborhood with all four 90% or higher.
Gonna send another round of four with 3* time boosts, then maybe start sending rentals at full clock. Which I have plenty.
I should see Theshold mid weekend, with zero cash invested.

Looking closely at her drawing I think the body looks good it is just in a fighting stance. The face and head looks good too. I think the problem is where the head meets the neck and body. I think that the head is just slightly too big, like 5-10% too big.
It's interesting to read everyone's opinions, 'cause often you find that there is no universal agreement. Some want Ro in threshold, others want Noah. Some will be 1 star and out, others will burn it down to win. Some want Disco and more Disco, others cringe.
For myself, I don't mind that Mirror Landry (or other occasional legendaries) is 2-skill. I developed a strategy a while back in which I only use 2-skillers for day shuttles and 3-skillers for voyages. This way, there's no chance that I send out valuable voyage crew on a shuttle. If Landry can keep pace with Ba'ku Worf, she might make it on my roster. If not, she can stay in the mirror universe.
Finally, I am so tired of hearing about people complain about 2 skill chars.. and claiming they are useless. Are they as versatile as 3? probably not, but you know there are other aspects to this game than voyages, not to mention, I still use 2 skills on voyages, especially if their stats are insanely high and they fill a gap. Cadet Tilly is 2 skill, and she has one of the best eng in the game, think 2nd? and we constantly have disco events, so I use her all the fllipping time.
She's on par with Torchbearer Rejac, decent enough on shuttles not quite as good as Rejac for gauntlet but her base stats are slightly better. Another on par crew would be Warship Tuvok, but Landry is way better than him for gauntlet.
Mirror Reed is the only 2 skill I consider better than Landry better base and proficiency. Guinevere Kira is lower in base stats but is more even between the two skills with both over 1k, and then there is T'Kuvma but he is CMD/SEC not SEC/CMD.
In short if you don't have Mirror Reed (like me) and need a decent gold SEC/CMD elligible for Mirror events she is worth her salt.
I do however have Rejac and Kira so if I do miss out I won't be devastated, confused maybe, but not devastated.
Edit: Big oops there is another eligible character Mirror Sulu (don't have him either) but again base stats are comparable and Landry has a better SEC proficiency considering this I would consider Landry is slightly better in any case.

In my opinion it would be a win-win to drop the previous legendary to about 300,000 and put the new legendary at 400,000. In this weeks event that would be agent janeway at 300k and bartender Tuvok at 400,000. That puts the older less desirable crew at an easier level and the fresh crew about as high as possible to encourage more participation. If this was a first run event then you would have the current prize at 300k (voyage token), and the legendary at 400k.
I would expect this setup to encourage both newer and established captains to participate more. In my own case it would help motivate me more than the current setup, since I already have all the crew that I expect to be able to get immortalized, but I don't have a bartender Tuvok. I don't expect to get him via packs since the honor given for 4* and 5* crew is too low to make this pack worth buying.
Anyone else having weird issues with Lucille Davenport? She’s a definite version of Janeway, from when she was playing around in a holonovel. However, during this event so far, her bonus has been erratic. That is, it keeps turning on and off. Sometimes it shows up and sometimes it treats her as if she’s not an event crew variant. Anyone else having this problem or know why I am having it?
Weirdly enough, I’m also Vulcan Housewife. Also, RNGesus hates me, like really, REALLY hates me.

LOL got it.
I have her and the other event folks FF/FE. I actually may sit this event out completely. Haven't done that in a LONG time
Everyone should consider doing so. Just from the response they gave Shan to give us. {NOT her fault. Just the messenger!!!!!}

Same.
(Bad feeling only cause Landry should have been the 4* and Lorca the 5*, I would be extremely happy if we got Lorca)

That would be a pleasant surprise. The more wanted Mirror being accessible!!!!!!!
