Id like to see a movies themed event, or collection.
Im still awaiting Renegade Kirk from ST III, Commander Sonak and “Heroic Spock” from WOK’s ending
What if we did an event for each movie, one after the other? Week 1 is an event for Star Trek the Motion Picture, week 2 is an event for Wrath of Khan and so on. I think it would be great and people could anticipate the week their favorite movie is coming.

There were six TOS movies. It could be an ultra mega 6-week event. Would there be one recurring Legendary or break it up into two 3-week mega events with two legendaries?
Easy choice for me - no disrespect to anyone who likes it but 'Time's Arrow' was never my thing really. I like all the fun moments in it, but the story never kind of felt big the way I think it was meant to, with the threat of the aliens and the time loop idea, it came across to me more like it was a comedy episode that accidentally got taken seriously.
And anyway I just looked up Marc Alaimo on Memory Alpha and OMG he was the dog alien from 'Lonely Among Us'? I don't remember if that guy even got lines, but I've always thought of him as just 'the dog alien' (in my head it's 'the episode with the dog aliens and the snake aliens') so I really want his dialogue to be a very long, drawn-our Marc Alaimo style "Woof. Woof... woof. ... Woof."

I'm reminded of those commercials for Bush's Baked Beans, in which the conceit was that the owner's dog, Duke, was totally willing to sell out the secret family recipe. I think it was the first one with him where he was caught speaking English and he stopped and just says, as unconvincingly as could be, "Woof. Woof, woof." They should resurrect that ad campaign with Alaimo voicing a new dog.
As long as DB is doing poker players I know a great one that should be added.
Edit: Not that Hawking should be anything less than legendary.
given that he's the ONLY person in all of star trek who actually played himself in an episode, maybe he should be a 5* with three skills: SCI, ENG and SCI again

I chose Time's Arrow, because it does have quite a few good characters to draw from.
However, if it were me, I would prefer something actually set in the Mirror Universe (has only been done once) or something centered around the Guardian of Time. Either could have endless story possibilities.

There's definitely still a lot about the Mirror Universe to explore, certainly. I'm of the mind that that's the one area where there's the most freedom for new, non-canonical crew. And the KCA roster is straight up pitiful. What about Mirror versions of Gowron, Dukat, Martok, Duras, Lursa, B'Etor, Kurn, Enabran Tain, Damar, or even someone like Chang? He would have been active around the time that Emperor Spock's Terran Empire fell. Had the man who'd failed to stop peace in the Prime timeline been responsible for the KCA conquest over the Terran Empire in that timeline?

And I could do with a new Mirror Garak worth thawing. The existing one has been stat-creeped into oblivion. Most of those you listed could come first, but I'm just saying there's options.
I was joking, mostly. But honestly, I'd be okay if lack of events caused a few people to walk away from this game. I know, I know... "you don't have to play in every event blah blah blah" and I don't. But I still think weekly is too much. I think a Mega every 2 months is too much. Events should be significantly fewer in number. If events are every week then they aren't really events, they're just regular game play. Just my 2 slips of gold pressed latinum.

PM for details.
Frederick La Rouque (played by Marc Alaimo) will be the legendary for the first event after the mega event. There are probably a few players hoping for a Marc Alaimo event similar to the Jeffrey Combs event some months back. It would be great to see Gul Macet (new) with an existing Dukat variant.
Alternatively, DB could do a Time's Arrow event. If you pick this option, please post who you would like to see as the new SR.
Reruns are also common after mega events. If you pick this option, which event would you likew to see as the rerun?
Did I miss something? Please select Other and let me know what I missed.
Most likely the Gambler 5* for next week points more towards a Time's Arrow related thing, than a Marc Alaimo thing. Just my guess, if it is one or the other.
"The truth is like a lion; you don't have to defend it. Let it loose; it will defend itself."

You make some good points. It kind of is regular gameplay with varying flavors. I like it that way, but that's not to say that I wouldn't like it more with some other type of flavor mixed in. That's worth a thread into itself. (Because I could go on about it, but then, who would find their way into the conversation?)

Other types of flavor would absolutely improve things. They have such potential to add in a wide variety of events but seemingly refuse to use it. At least give us expeditions again every now and then. And yes, a thread on this subject alone could be very robust. I think there may have even been a few on here in the past.

Enterprise Mega. How bout it guys???? In all seriousness we need a doctors mega.
I'm still waiting on a TOS Mega. Ideally, I would adore one set during the 5-year mission and not the movies, so we can have an entire four weeks of those delightfuly, wacky guest characters that made that show such fun. Existing examples include Abraham Lincoln, M-113 Creature, Mother Horta, Trelane, Yarnek, and perhaps the greatest of them all, the White Rabbit. Come to think of it, Trelane could have been a fantastic Recurring Legendary.
Hell, I'd even be fine with a TOS/Doctors-Hybrid Mega. We could finally get Dr. M'Begna, and the version of Bones we all secretly want:

Doctor M’Benga is one of those characters I would go nutty over. And there are so many other great possibilities for event crew:
-Chief Engineer Vanderberg (COM/ENG/DIP)
-Lokai and Commissioner Bele (SEC/DIP/SCI and SEC/COM/SCI)
-Balok (whether as his disguise or as Clint Howard)
-Bricklayer McCoy (MED/ENG/SEC)
-Norman (COM/SCI/ENG)
-Garth of Izar (COM/MED/SEC)
-Anton Karidian (DIP/SEC/COM)
-Sylvia and Korob (SCI/DIP/SEC as a pair)
-Mirror McCoy (MED/SEC/DIP)
-Galt (SEC/COM)
-Shahna (SEC/DIP)
-Captain Ronald Tracy (COM/SCI/SEC)
-Elaan, Dohlman of Troyius (COM/MED/DIP)
-Commander Loskene (COM/SEC/ENG)
-Henoch (SEC/MED/SCI)
-Mr. Atoz (SCI/ENG/DIP)

I hear Risa is nice. Picard enjoyed it.
(When are we getting "Revealing Picard" ??)
Probably before Cardassian Prisoner (Four Lights) Picard.
If DB left off all of Picard's chest hair they could make it a Timelines Original. Please if you release this card DB, make it a Timelines Original.

You mean "Deflated Picard", or "Flaccid Picard"?

Yes! We have a winner!
Sorry, @Hungry Dog DDM and @[DD] Kirk Induced Self Destruction I wasn't trying to be dismissive, but it seemed like a good setup.
I would honestly stop playing.

More like a helmsman's mega, with all the Sulu, Mayweather, Detmer, Tom Paris and TNG randos you can handle!
5* "Not Wesley at the Helm the one Time Nagilum kills the Helmsman" Helmsman.......
