would have to assume you want name recognition as part of a major feature reward, such as gauntlet. I have no idea who 99% of these named characters are.

I am with you here. I think we need to think more like "V'ger" or Crystaline Entity
  • I think a Metron would be a great addition, eng and sci and med or dip
  • How about a variant of Lwaxana Troi? Once you knabbed her, your crit rolls would be like her love life, mostly fails! :D

DS9 option: Nilva from "Profit and Lace." Without his support, we would have ended up with Grand Nagus Brunt.

Apart from all the things that have already been mentioned, I think that some or most of the existing Gauntlet characters also have something mysterious and unusual about them: they are higher life-forms, live much longer, aren't humanoid or nobody knows exactly what's going on inside of them. The Ba'ul would make sense to me, because they fit that description too.
And some time ago someone suggested Onaya from DS9, which would also make sense in my opinion (I mean, we got Armus, so...).
I'm trying to think of someone from Voyager, but so far nobody comes to my mind, except for the aliens from Scientific Method, but they didn't even have a name and had, like, 5 minutes screen time :/

"The Prophets" from DS9 would fit the trend too. I don't know which character art they would use, or maybe a group,
  • crystalline entity

To fit with the bolded part, what about Rumpelstiltskin from DS9's 'If Wishes Were Horses' episode? We already have Buck Bokai in the game.

As an alternative, I’ll suggest Balok from the Corbomite Maneuver.

I like V’ger but I think that should be a merging of Commander Decker and Ilia Probe characters like the Duras Sisters or Tuvix.

The obvious choice would be Mr. Homn, fits right in with the mysterious part and the TNG tradition (Locutus, Guinan, Armus). :)

Nice idea. But can you imagine how much alcohol that would require? Just equip him with alcohol and Lwaxana's luggage. No skills or traits at all.

Right? He can’t talk so no DIP. She pushes him around so no COM or SEC. the guy is literally a bellboy

Just like Resistance Neelix also has a lot of SEC for just running away :) At least Mr. Homn looks strong due to his size.

Most anticipated character not in the game: Mr. Homn

And Grateful Lwaxana has a lot of SEC for...dress? Red hair?

No security for Mr. Homn? What you do not know is that he stole the Sacred Chalice of Rixx and the Holy Rings of Betazed years ago and Lwaxana is none the wiser cause he replaced them with copies.
    Let’s fly!

As far as servants go, I always preferred Maihar'du, Grand Nagus Zek's servant, bodyguard, food taster, pilot and provider of Hupyrian beetle snuff.
  • Regarding Mrs. Troi...remember Security also means "keeps us all safe". She kept the security officer safe.

not exactly a villain, but she would certainly qualify as more than the alien of the week...some combination of MED CMD and maybe DIP or SCI?

  • There is absolutely no better choices then Kevin Uxbridge and/or V'ger

I am sure that DB would have event after event with the Metrons ;) so i think the gauntlet would be perfect for them
