Bummer ... faction event is the worst when you have limited time (will be on vacation) ... wouldn't have minded a copy of Navaar ... even though you know she'll be a 2-skiller for sure ... seems like I would have had a decent shot seeing all the Luke warm reactions above.

good luck all.
ooo this will be a fun skill argument! she could certainly command the human men to...do...things...but what other skills should she have?
Two questions occur quickly : 1) Are Db aware that there is apparently FOUR different event types yet for the last three weeks and next week Faction event or phase has featured. and 2) Does this also mean Silva La Forge is a small event bonus too. I look forward to the admin's replies.

Diplomacy and command are really the only two feasible skills
Presumably an AI in control of an entire ship would have engineering knowledge of the ships systems, security knowledge of its armament, science knowledge of how its warp drive propulsion works, medical knowledge assuming she can access the medical database, etc. Seems like you could insert any skills you want to me.
That was by far the most interesting (and still curiously unexplained) Short Trek for me, and I think her art could certainly look pretty cool.

I'm thinking a carbon copy of Orion Vina ... but then better (hopefully) ... DIP/SCI - sci on account of the pheromone stuff, which I assume they could control the emission of in some form.

So turns out 'seduce' is on the naughty words list in in-game chat, so I just accidentally explained to my fleet that Navaar was the leader of the Orions who tried to ###### the crew of the Enterprise.
I'm not taking responsibility for that one, DB, that's all on you.

Hahaha this is hilarious!
Also, thank you for not throwing 50+ bonus crew at us.
You mean like the 50 Janeway's?
Seriously?
There hasn't been a single new Janeway in all of 2018.
As of now, there are 15 versions of Janeway, 15 of Sisko, 18 of Picard, 14 of Kirk and 10 of Archer. I could understand Enterprise fans complaining about the lack of Archers, but the whole Janeway thing is getting old.

We have had two new Janeways in 2019 besides Vice Admiral Janeway, Evolved Janeway in April and Determined Janeway in June.

As a ratio of screentime:cards I'd argue that Archer is doing very well. Kirk too, but Kirk is Kirk.

Ok, but to me it still doesn't feel like we got too many versions of her over the last two years, given that she was the captain in a show that lasted 7 seasons.
Also, Lucille Daveport was the equivalent of a Tuesday pack, more or less, when it comes to the actual chances of obtaining her in that same year.
That being said, if having as many Janeways as Siskos or Kirks is such a terrible thing to live with for some players, then whatever. I guess these things don't have to follow logic.

I think DIP/COM/SCI is the most reasonable and most likely - given the limited excitement shown thus far, she’d need to be pretty strong to get more people interested in trying for rank.

I was kind of hoping I was right. Kind of liked that mini-sode......

Thanks for the clarification.

That is entirely possible
Especially the one about Mudd. I think that one is pretty true to TOS Mudd. Rain Wilson does a good job there.
Been no evidence of that so far.....and don't call me Shirley....
You called it
I'm not taking responsibility for that one, DB, that's all on you.
Mudd one was great but my favorite is the Tilly Po one.

I believe so. Siranna (Saru's sister) and Queen Po debuted on Short Treks, but both later appeared on the series proper.
Could you please continue the petty bickering? I find it most intriguing.
