Ranked Reward 5*: New Eden Pike (New) - this crew will be featured event crew in the event starting on 10/03.

    Definitely a card worth having a dup of, IMO. He was one of the first cards I finished through citations, and no regrets there.

    Looking forward to the event DB! Great choices! A skirmish to get some honor, a La Forge to add another star to, and a cool Anson Mount Pike from a great Discovery episode! New Eden was my favorite Discovery episode of season 2. Here is what Pike will look like.

    I am more than happy to save a citation on La Forge, and to enjoy a fountain of holoemitters...finishing level 8 of the Observation Lounge has helped avoid using up my existing stock so far but I’ll be out by the start of next week.

    I'm really looking forward to New Eden Pike. Hopefully a CMD beast since he'll probably have SEC and DIP. Episode spoiler:
    CMD because he's all bossy and stuff, SEC from jumping on an overloading phaser or something, and DIP from communicating with the colonists in a diplomatic manner.

    That boring old combo makes me hope for good stat creep to make it worthwhile. Or maybe proficiencies to rival Gowron? I would mention ship ability, but he'll be the reward for a skirmish and not event crew for the skirmish.

    It has one of moments that irks me the most about Discovery, but otherwise a good episode. Episode spoiler:
    Pike (standing next to Acting Captain Saru): Burnham, who should I take on my away team?
    Saru didn't speak up. Burnham didn't bat an eyelash at undermining a senior officer. Nope. It's all about Burnham, regulations be damned.

    That one moment just ruined the immersion for me. Other than that, it was classic Trek with the moral dilemma, sci-fi stuff, and courageous captain.

    5th star for La Forge saving a citation, no SCI guy as a Skirmish reward. And... SKIRMISH!

    I totally love it.

    not to rain on everyone's excitement, but I thought all reruns are now flashbacks and the prior 5* reward would not be in the threshold rewards? @Shan can you confirm/deny if this is a flashback rerun please.

    There was never any announcement that ALL future reruns would be in the flashback format. Just that there would be ONE flashback to make it easier to release to focus on development work.

    One flashback event will not be enough to do anything significant though. I expect a mixture of "normal" reruns and flashbacks for the future of STT...

    Wooo!

    Haunted Vessels was the first event I actively participated in. I was super excited, and it involved some of my favorite characters.

    I ended up a few points away from getting Breen Dukat, and was super bummed. So I'm thrilled for the chance to finally get him, and Geordi!
    Six degrees in Inter-species Veterinary Medicine. Treating all manner of critters, from Tribbles to Humans.

    I'm excited, but not because it's a re-run. It's honor-farming time!! :p Yes, I'm exciting to improve my 2/5 La Forge, but that's just icing on the honor cake.
