Value-wise, I like this offer. I read it as 20 portals for $20, and then 4500 Dil for $5. Although 4500 chrons is a nice chunk, I personally don't count chrons for value anymore ('cause voyages). So it's the standard portal price point with a massive Dil discount tacked on.
If I had the gift cards today that I expect (hope?) to get next week, I'd go for this one. But alas, my time machine is broken, and my warp drive can't break free of the sun's gravity.

I read that as the span for the LTOs, but I think you are correct. Thanks.
The rest, not pictured, were a proverbial boatload of useless super rares, which I have to say I found a bit odd. I mean, there are still quite a few super rares that I either don’t have or haven’t FFed yet, but I got not a one. But I did get immensely lucky with the Begolds, so I’m not complaining.
Weirdly enough, I’m also Vulcan Housewife. Also, RNGesus hates me, like really, REALLY hates me.
Compared to what we got yesterday, this is frankly awful. Hard pass from me, with the hope that the deals get better rather than worse over the coming days.

If they put this one up first, there would be complaints from folks who bought it and then saw a better offer the next day.

Sure, but DB is used to complaining. They care about making cash. And anyone who bought yd´s offer surely is not tempted by this one. So it seems like a strange offer sequence...

To be fair, when haven’t we complained about something? I fully expected the deals to get better every day, starting with something that was legitimately good and ending with something better even than the exchange rate from the monthly card.
This deal I think would be a little more reasonable at 30 packs and 2250-2500 dil, at the same price point (or maybe at $20). As it is, it seems to me to be a variation on the now-standard 15/3k/3k deal rather than a truly special holiday offer.
Strange offer sequence really. YD something amazing, today something worse. Doesn´t seem too well thought out. Let´s see what is yet to come...
Yesterday was good, so people bought. Today is worse. People who skipped yesterday now think twice and maybe jump at this one afraid it gets even worse. But they have no one to blame but themselves for not buying yesterday. And people who bought yesterday are happy.
If DB flipped the order the people who bought yesterday would all complain that DB made a better offer today.
The order makes sense to me.
The real key is DB needs to keep people guessing. If the next days offer was always better then people would keep waiting and DB would lose sales. They give you 22 hours and want you to think this might be the best offer so you need to buy now.
People who bought yesterday's offer might buy this offer if they are after packs.
Keep in mind this is 20 packs and enough dil to buy 5 of the end of offer megapacks (250 dil. left over, with VIP dil a 6th could be bought) If you like the 10 for 10 and can afford another $24.99 twice this offer is good. Yesterday's offer certainly in my mind was an offer where you are not just buying packs.
We of course are going to compare offers, but this offer might not be back until next Christmas, as well as, yesterday's.
Edit: for me after spending $50 on two accounts, $100 total, I could not afford to spend on today's offer even if I wanted more packs. Though maybe on my main account, but, there are still more offers to come.
It is the same offer as Black Friday's but that was available only 1x if memory serves.
This offer is really not so bad but after 50 $ yesterday I will skip it.

This is a good offer. If you like packs. And if yesterday did not happen.
Look, guys. Yesterday’s offer was one of, if not the, best LTO ever. No way were they going to top that. But compared to the standard LTOs (10x10, 5 sr cites, etc), this is a good value.
I am passing just because I am not really looking at pack-centric offers atm. If this same deal came at a different time, I would seriously consider it, though.

Last years $10 for 15 packs and 1500 DIL is still the best offer on a DIL equivalent per dollar basis.
Baffled how anyone who logged in yesterday would buy this but what do I know
P.S. As per my earlier frustration, both campaign portals and the community portal were without golds too so the hilarious streak of nonsense continues... There hasn't even been a usable purple... Lolz are all I can offer

Hmm. Yesterday's offer (which I bought) was 20 packs, 4500 Chrons & 4500 Dil for $25. According to my calculations, $10 for 1500 Dil is 150 Dil per dollar spent, but $25 for 4500 Dil is 180 Dil per dollar spent. Right? Or am I misunderstanding what you were saying?

It's kind of funny that the offer I got today is far worse than yesterday's offer, yet they are the same price.

I don't really care that today's offer pales in comparison to yesterday's. They can't all be great. The disappointment for me is more that it's just more packs and dil. I was kind of hoping for 12 really different offers. Like citations one day, chrons the next, maybe elusive treasures, a few $9.99 legendaries, etc. Some variety and/or offer types we haven't seen before would be cool!
Today's offer is not a bad offer but, i would have changed it and improved it a little.
First off, I would have made the offers last 48 hours. That way, you always have the previous day's offer as a choice if you did not buy it's limit.
Second, today's offer I would have cut the quantity in half and offered it for $9.99 with a limit of three times. So, 10 packs and 1125 dil. for $9.99. That would make it a more pack oriented deal. But, also give those that cannot afford to spend $24.99 the option of a $9.99 one. But, one can also wait a day to determine if the next offer might be the one to spend money on.
If the offers got better each day, a person might not spend until the last day. These two would offer a difference enough that some would want yesterday's offer over my modified today's offer. Others might wait to tomorrow to buy the one I modified for today.

Follow-up question: do you think there will be any specials purchased for dilithium?

It was probably the cat. The dog already wears the Cone of Shame. No animal would risk wearing it longer.
