Honestly as a fairly low level player without a massive inventory or loads of chrons, it’s getting science experiments on my first warp.... There have been times I’ve used up ~100 chrons and got none which is rather frustrating..
The first Galaxy event recipes use those damn things. At that time there were no voyages and starbases dropping hundreds of chronitons daily and no supply kits to stretch 'em out. It was... unpalatable.
The question as worded exactly, is what is more fun than using a citation. Doesn’t mention the game at all. I could throw many things out here that could get me banned!! Surprised our resident nitpicker grammar police haven’t caught that yet
Great question Lorca! Three items get me excited at this stage in the game:
1. Gold drops from a merit pull.
2. Gauntlet gold drops after a top 10 finish.
3. Hitting 10 hours on a new skill combo (10 of 30 finished so far.)

FYI you may want to pick a crew who needs those and be sure to leave them UNleveled past that item, so you can use that for all of your replicator uses each day i've been doing that with this dude and his ID codes:
so he's helping me get a bit of a head start on farming for the next galaxy event!
as for the best feeling, it was definitely when i saw a Tuesday pack that had a 4* i have been waiting for, from my favorite movie, i had cites saved up, she dropped in the first pack, i power leveled her in about 4 minutes...and Paladin got his name on her instead oh wait did i say best i meant worst feeling
Best for me was getting two copies of Locutus from a single 4th place finish in gauntlet. Added bonus, he was the only gauntlet crew not FF at the time.
I had a pretty sweet bit of luck last week. I'd been saving up to try to get Elnor, since there was no Galaxy component a fourth star for Seven would also be useful, and as it happened my Torchbearer Tyler was also only 3/4, so I had a couple of chances before I'd be 'wasting' anything. First pull got me Tyler, second was Seven, and the third gave me my Elnor (he's so pretty ).
Plus the usual, whenever a random gold shows up, or a useful purple from a Voyage or whatever, but that was especially nice since it wasn't just 'random' luck, there was a specific best-case scenario and it happened. Next time I let myself be lured into trying a few Tuesday packs and get nothing I'll think back to that and won't feel so bad about it.
Has anyone mentioned seeing a 3 🌟 if Schemes in the first Slot of a Premium Pull?!?!?
Cause the anticipation of a very likely Behold/BeGold is tingly!!!!!!
I have figured out a better percentage of getting a behold/begold by buying a Basic 10x pull first, and if you get a crew in the first slot of that, then do your 10x pull Premium, it almost always gives you the behold/begold at/toward the end! Maybe it's just RNG fun, but it has been better pulls for me since I started doing that.
Single pulls are my thing this week. From a lonesome pull out of a Gauntlet crate:
These are so great as I never expect it.

Couldnt talk for about 5 minutes.
That’s insane luck!

Well thank you my friend. And here’s my boys for you
Beating my [friendly] rival in my fleet during the weekly event has become a thing too.

This was good as well:
Nothing will top this:
OGAWD I THINK IVE PEAKED!
BRB, setting all of my devices on fire and becoming a hermit.
Hear, hear! There is a certain satisfaction doing it that way, I agree. 🖖
This free pull just now 😀
