I think this is worth another re-quoting. A brutal diplomat and a romantic caregiver have almost identical stat profiles. So what exactly distinguishes these crew variants for actual gameplay? If you missed out on Chancellor L’Rell, by all means you should chase Mother L’Rell. But otherwise... 🤷♂️

Caregiver with no med skill. What a missed opportunity.
Cmd/med/sec would have been god like for this card.
On the flip side, it’s a Caregiver without MED. If that trait ever comes up again in an event, it might be nice to have another crew with a slightly different skill set - if I remember correctly, there were only one or two Caregivers I used in the last mega that didn’t have MED and I might have been in trouble if it weren’t for a robust collection of Warp Theorists to balance things out.

Hopefully next week is not a faction so that I can threshold and out without worrying about downstream event performance. But it probably will be at least a partial faction event.
Just noticed the ranked rewards. If you're going all in, better push for 1st OR 6th. There's no rare portals for 2nd- 5th. TP really takes that 'If you're not first, you might as well be last' thing seriously!

2nd-5th gets a 2nd 10x pack in place of the 5 single rates, 1st gets both. This is the same reward structure that they have for every event.

Been a while since we had such a weak-stats character in a galaxy - Tomalak’s recipes are pretty rough compared to the usual 80% success rates we tend to get.

No kidding. And who exactly are we supposed to be using for all those MED builds? Even a FFFE Kamin's MED is paltry. I actually stopped at 130K for the first time since 130K stopped being the finish line, and even getting that far was painful.
