It started because I was waiting for a portal update and then when that turned up I just didn’t find the time. Then as the stockpile grew, so did the amount of time needed to open them all. I think I need to book a week off work just to open them all. I really should get around to it!

With the honor sale looming, you really ought to do it. That is a LOT of honor sitting there. I estimate 75 honor per pack is over 40K. And that is a very conservative estimate.
Edit. I didn't notice the premium count. WOW! Those are 800 per pack in honor. And the basics there are 100 honor each (maybe 75 average with ships included).
- 45 total (all legally obtained through scans and the 19 give-away), plenty of dupes already.

- Will probably spend 3 later today/tomorrow for a first star for North Star T'Pol.
I don’t understand how this is possible at this stage of implementation. I spend most of my ISM scanning and most polestars I open lend multiple Federation, Starfleet, etc., and I DO choose very carefully which ones I unlock. Am I missing something?

As time goes by and ISM builds up from campaigns and events I will be able to ramp that up. This is what I currently have:

You have not had bad luck, Rara has had exceptionally good. I have 31 which isn’t much less but 9 Federation polestars which stinks. TP also gave people those constellations of which we still have most of.
1. I was really proud of my hoarding "accomplishments" and wanted to share that with everyone.
2. I've felt that a thread like this was LONG overdue and I am really glad people got in the spirit and had a ton of fun with this, I hope that continues!
3. I realized that my hoarding was creating a negative feedback loop with my interest levels/malaise as hoarding became the goal, not actually playing. I think this may be a symptom of "end game" play and I knew I had to do something to shake myself loose from that, so once I saw just how great Wyatt Earp was as a voyager two weeks ago ([tease]this will make more sense once you guys have access to the Voyage Project Part 3[/tease] I made up my mind to make a good showing in the event that just wrapped up. I had done ZERO pre-farming so that event basically wiped me out of chronitons (sort of, I still have 70,000) and my inventory is almost completely depleted. I used this event as a means to rip the bandage off and force myself out of my status quo game play, and it worked, I have a renewed fire to recapture my strength! I knew my reserves would never again be this ridiculous, so I posted all my stuff in a way to eulogize them to make way for my rebirth.

Yeah ... the total number of Polestars should be similar for most people doing 6 scans a day (total cost 400 ISM + 3 ad warps), give or take one or two, as over time the "luck" will even out if you do enough pulls.
--> Just do your 6 scans a day and you'll be set in no time.
What you need luck with is the actual Constellations you find ... and then getting the Polestar you hope for ...
e.g. I have a Hirogen Polestar from Colonel Karr ... at the moment of writing this post this Polestar is near useless and any of his other 5 Polestars (Resourceful, Veteran, Marksman, Tactician, and Costumed) would have been more useful ... was hoping Marksman in this case, as it would have meant I could have obtained a * For the likes of Frank Hollander or Gunslinger Uhura with ease.
--> Yay, I got a constellation! Oh, the Polestar can only get me 3* or 4* crew.
At least you can use Federation/Starfleet/Human to target a specific 5* crew.

Easy. Whatever would be the amount in the WebStore Dilithium Offer plus however I had on hand the time I got it that was the most. The Leap Ahead, IIRC.
Like, if when I bought it, the most I ever had was 750, it would be the Leap Ahead, plus the bonus purchase Dilithium for the price paid, plus the 750.....
