A monthly OE was expected for May regardless of FCD, so the rewards for each should be considered separately. We aren’t getting a free 5* for FCD for the first time in the last 4 years. It’s not like we’re getting a free 5th copy of the OE featured 5* crew, which would be an incremental gift.

There has been no expectation of monthly objective events. They have been used for special celebrations. They are now using it to give us a 4/5 card for First Contact Day. June may have another monthly Objective event for Captain Picard day, but that will be part of a Picard celebration. I wouldn't expect an Objective event with a 4/5 for August just because it's every other month.

Advertising a pack in advance and then making it a generic chron, supply kit, revival token pack?
Talk about setting yourself up for failure. If that's all you're going to do, don't advertise it. The pack is nearly worthless. But if it's unexpected it's a, "hey free stuff cool" reaction. Once you advertise it, especially after giving away a 5* behold previously, players expect that. And now "free stuff" turns into dashed expectations and upset players.
The sad thing is that in 2022, this apparently is special. In 2020, this happened every other Tuesday. It’s a nice pack, but a disappointment.
Maybe you would like things to be exactly the same today as they were in 2020? 🤔

This is an old internal name for the crew, it would be looked into but it should not affect the event as the objective will look for the crew symbol, which has not changed.

But you've literally just said that we're not getting one every month. It's not WRG's fault that there's so much Trek to celebrate at the start of the year. I bet you'll be the first to complain when we don't get one next month.
