Hard to get updates out when half the staff is laid off.
And once again the community finds out news before they tell us.
Why would they tell us? What would have been gained to tell people on a forum or did you expect an in game message so all users would know? Hey, we had a layoff. The news was out in the public and not a secret.
Because it is just another failure of open communication and at least reassures the people who accept the "We ain't going nowhere" messages at face value.

I love it.
You are finding no fault in them not telling us that the majority of the studio was laid off and major change is imminent. Ben was fully aware of the lay offs, and instead sent out a game mail that only focussed on shans departure. Nothing about the rest other than big shoes to fill yadda yadda yadda.
What i find funny, is that you are defending this lack of transparency, and obfuscation.
Ride or die i suppose. All the way to the end you are blindly defending them, even though basically none are left and none of them had the decency to say “hey, save your cash. Things are happening”
