    It should be a flashback, yes. However, it would award a brand new Legendary for the following week’s event.

    I imagine that this is one of those things Shan would bring up. We should be getting a mega event announcement next Tuesday too. Just mentioning that early.

    Yea, it is both expected and unfortunate. Hoping they start to hit their stride with the new mega. Next weeks gold should be the first shared of the mega so maybe they have to get all their ducks in a row with that before the announcement...

    Having a rerun / flashback has been the normal schedule after a mega - but these are far from normal circumstances.

    A mega is not normal for January, especially when we just had one in December and just one week in between. The current mega is still finishing up this week. My personal preference would be to skip the normal February mega which takes another 4 weeks and wait for April. A February mega would end up being pushed into mid March. In this period of transition, things are bound to be announced a bit slower for a while, I can wait.

    What they’re going to do and what they should do are separate things. In this case, WRG is being too ambitious and is skipping out on the basics.

    I'm pretty sure it was specifically stated in a thread somewhere that the January Mega was a special event, and there is still a Mega this month. Also, as you said, there is a MEGA teaser. For, like, you know, a MEGA!!!!!

    100% there is a Mega starting soon. If next week IS a Flashback, though, that means the Mega will push even further into March. However, things are only what they are until they are not.

    It's tidier on paper if a mega-event is contained within one month, but I can't envision it affecting my playing experience whatsoever if it ends up straddling two months instead.

    I think it nearly has before, maybe not this extreme, but I think the last event has started on the last day of the month (thinking April or June) before. It's been a few years though.
    February is just a nuisance in a way for scheduling. I wonder how long before the final event of the Mega falls on Leap Day? I remember Leap Yar.

    Mega events - to my knowledge have always been called that - EVENTS, not ARCS

    It's now Friday and still we do not know WHAT is happening next week. Even a note here on the Forums about is it new/flashback/rerun and if new, is it part of the Mega Event would be a nice piece of communication. If artwork is again hung up, we do not need it to be shown. Just make some kind of announcement as a means of communication. And let the players know what is happening. Players did not start the thing of communicating a week ahead, the company did. So, please communicate!

    Hey Ben, thanks for checking in! Can you clarify if it's a rerun (which includes an existing Legendary at 400k VP in the threshold rewards) or a flashback (which does not)? AGIMUS being the ranked reward Legendary in this current event leads me to believe it's a flashback, but wanted to confirm.

    I like the idea. Easier to hit it for me in Skirmish or Fraction Events. But, nice idea and I support it being an ongoing thing.
