The event we just got done with, was the major change. Instead of the new legendary being in the rank rewards, the old one was. I gather this was a card they had trouble with the artwork on. The result was, in this last event, some people, who did not need the legendary , did not compete to get in the top 100.
The coming up event anyone that can get to 400k threshold can get a copy. Where as in the past, only the ones getting in the top 1500 thresholds would get at least one copy.
So more people can get this new card, and since most only get one copy anyhow, you deal with one copy like you would in any event. The only ones missing out are the ones that would have competed in the event we just got done with and placed high enough to get more than one copy.
Hey all. Here to answer some questions. only 1 copy of Krem in the Thresholds at 400k. No copy of him in the community rewards. Krem will also be in the Medium and High event offers this week and also will be in the event pack.
Wish instead of just going for the biggest way to monetise a rerun, they chose more of the middle ground and perhaps made Krem the reward at 400k this week and next week.
It would increase participation in the event, which is normally lower and then give incentive to play next week too and people can still buy the expensive offers.
The game could do with a refresh here and there with events, might even consider adding year one legendary crew to events at 400k a few times a year as a random reward.
Just going forward don't make it so obvious that the changes are just all about making as much money as possible, would be nice.
If you set aside most of your legendary cites from honor sales, you actually won’t need to spend to immortalize Krem.
I HATE the idea of a new 5* at threshold of a rerun - reruns are supposed to give us a break... and crew space is limited and it is new - this his bad idea.. I hate it, not even liking it a tiny bit, I think it is horrible. - just my honest feedback :-)
I really find this funny. When flashbacks were first introduced it was pitched as a break for the staff to save a week creating new characters. Players hated having an event without a new character.
Now that a new character is being added, players are viewing flashbacks as a break for players and complaining that there is a new crew.

I always disliked an event every single week. I preferred it when an event was a special thing, not a weekly event. When they started going every week, I looked a reruns as a way to have a break myself, as a player.
Do we all really want to spend every weekned dealing with this? lol

You really seem to be playing the wrong game then 🤔😄

No one is forcing anyone to play, this or any other weekend. Take the time off, it's just a game. You control it, it doesn't control you.

With all the other new ways crew are introduced outside of events (ie: month-long achievement event, extra layer of campaign, fleet boss battle, etc..), the stinginess with crew slots in a glorified card collecting game, only makes this all the more frustrating.
When I don’t bother using new crew in their featured event, leave them in my crew overflow for as long as possible, then immediately immortalize and freeze them, it certainly makes me wonder what the point is.
If this event is just Supply Missions why does the ingame notes say Community Rewards are only available during Phase 1?
Not sure if this is confusing you. But, for me in the past, I confused supply missions with faction missions. Supply missions is what Timelines has been calling those builds we do in Galaxy events.
Also, even though the community rewards can only be earned in the phase one, they are available to be claimed in phase two and after. Provided , you earn some event points.

I apparently misread and this was where the confusion came from.

I still find calling Galaxy event supply missions confusing. I rather have them called builds or build missions.

I understand where you are coming from (or from whince you are coming), but I actually like galaxy events.

Community Rewards have only ever been available during Phase 1. DB not properly conveying that was a serious problem in the first Galaxy event.
