Let me explain my above response... I have already in previous posts expressed my dislike of someone marking something spam simply because they disagree. But even more I have no respect or patience for (halfass) homophobic remarks.... If you have an issue with two men kissing then simply DO NOT RESPOND.
Flagging posts as spam or abuse because you don't agree with someone else's world views should be reviewed if someone keeps doing it under review they should temporarily have posting privelages revoked and have to agree to forum guidelines.
Besides I thought scientists were known for experimenting
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Mirror locutus aka Noonien Soong would be nice touch , I know it would not fit with event apart from the mirror aspect but could be a awesome looking card for my battle crew
I always thought 7 and Janeway should have gotten together at the end of Voyager.
Jean-Luc Picard: "We think we've come so far. Torture of heretics, burning of witches, is all ancient history. Then, before you can blink an eye, suddenly, it threatens to start all over again."
This thread is so impressively off topic that I don't even remember what forum I'm on.
I don't have a problem with this stuff in star trek. I do have a problem with the fact that they dived straight into this with zero character development. At least Voyager waited a few seasons before jumping on the every three episodes is about a relationship bs. I think they jumped into this way too soon. Mention it from time to time, but don't make me watch entire episodes like voyager and DS9 soaking up 5-6 episodes a season about two people bickering about their relationship.

I mostly agree. I say mostly, as I thought, and it was done with the requisite character development, that the Worf/Dax relationship was a great exposure more fully into Klingon culture. I can see some folks feeling like Martok, however, after the fall of DS9 when they got back to base and was complaining that Worf would speak of nothing else other than the wedding plans.
Discovery really lacks character development in general, just jumping in and hoping folks care. Which is one reason I don't.
Hey um where's your quote from "so long and thanks for all the fish"?
My bf used it in the past and I don't know the reference. I could probably just google it I suppose, but I figured asking won't hurt.
Admiral of the Haus of GaghGagh, Starbase level 94, we are not accepting members at this time.
Captain of the voyage vessels: Queen of Bashir, Landsknecht, and Sunspear, the first luxury starship cruiseliners.
Amenities include wifi, fully-functioning holodecks, a full-service bar, 3 party decks, a Trill spa, and a business centre.
Fun fact: The ships are propelled by bouncy castle technology.

Its what the dolphins said when the evacuated the Earth before the Vogons destroyed it to make way for a Hyperspace bypass in Douglas Adams Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy radio/book/TV MiniSeries and movie. In fact the movie opens up with a musical sequence with dancing dolphins saying So Long, etc
