Let's have some fun: If you were a DB crew, what skills and attributes would your card have?

DavideBooksDavideBooks ✭✭✭✭✭
Don't include personal and identifiable information. It just isn't a good idea.

I am a field repair technician. That involves a good dose of engineering and superb diplomacy (customer service). My former jobs and responsibilities would include command.

I would say: fairly even with engineering and diplomacy with a showing of command in the third slot.

I've considered this topic before. Seems like a good way to get to know people without giving away personal information.

    Prmary Skill: Science
    Secondary Skill: Engineering
    Tertiary Skill: Medical

Traits: Human, Civilan, Botanist, Gardener, Survivalist, Casual, Jury-Rigger, Ornithologist

If I lived in TrekVerse I would probably also have Exobiology.

I like this idea, seems like a fun thread. I'm a dispatcher, so it's a lot of communication and directing human resources, when taking into consideration all my previous experience as well I'd come up with this:

    Primary skill: Command
    Secondary skill: Diplomacy
    Tertiary skill: Medicine

    Traits: Civilian, Communicator, Bartender, Gambler
  • KaiteeKaitee ✭✭✭✭✭
I'm just gonna go single stat for Diplomacy - I don't know that 'can be left alone without accidentally burning down the shop' should really count as Command so I'll just stick to my one stat I'm mediocre good at. Probably end up in cryo.

Traits: Human, Civilian, Casual, Merchant, Romantic

Welcome. This crew needed security. We abound in diplomacy and the others. One tertiary security and one tertiary med. Hopefully no bad guys and no sickness.

    Medical Diplomacy {Much lower tertiary Science, I guess.}

I have been an EMT in the past {For like 20 plus years} and am usually considered more of a problem de-escalator than a problem escalator.

The low Science because I read a LOT of technical stuff on a lot of subjects, and could probably do some things.

Edit To Add: maybe Security should be in there. My main area of knowledge is firearms and other weapons, with {to a lesser extent} much reading about larger platforms {Tanks, ships, planes}.

    Welcome. This crew needed security.

I work in a clothes shop, so maybe I was lying and all my enemies turn up dead when I've totally got an alibi, there's precedent for that.

Id say id have ENG primary (work with computers as my main job), DIP secondary since having so many odd instances with CS and being nice and getting what i want requires good DIP base, and CMD tertiary (i lead a fleet). Im a duelist (i fence), prodigy (i learn quickly), crafty (i really enjoy tricking my friends), resourceful (i literally carry a swiss army knife around with me everywhere), communicator (again the CS thing), and spiritual (please see my name) civilian (im not in public service..at the moment) and human. Hmmm...op and i sound a bit alike wouldnt you say?

I taught those grades for three years. If you are still there, you probably also have a fair degree of security with the babysitting trait.

Security primary, unless you teach the nicest kids ever :)
  • After the whole Picardgate debacle is over, and a good amount of the negativity has flushed out of the forums, I would like to present you this topic as a form of doing something for fun and light-hearted for a change. So here's the question: who would YOU really be in STT, and what would your skill combo be?

I asked myself that before going to bed today, and had only a single answer. I rarely make enemies with people, and most of my work background is in the hospitality industry, and people happily talk to me, so DIP. People also readily take and look for my advice in all kinds of situations, so that would be MED (as in a councellor's position). I also have a healthy amount of experience as a manager, so... CMD.

Conclusion: I am DIP/MED/CMD - holy hell does this mean I am like Tourist Quark?! (not that far away from the truth, I do have a Masters in Tourism...)

Anyone else who wants to chime in? :)

I have similar aspirations. It pained me to airlock writer Jake because he was male and human (and I needed space for more politically correct cadets), but I'm happy to have bestseller Jake.

Command and science, that's basically my job. I guess that makes me Doctor Chaotica.
