Ideally I'd like to see three-star versions of the four of them, with four star versions of Jack and Lauren in their Starfleet uniforms, and Legendary versions of Admiral Patrick and Sarina. But I'm probably getting WAY ahead of myself here.
I feel like most people are voting for either DS9/Dominion or TOS/Augments.
In both cases it sounds like it should be good
Most likely result would be either DS9/Augments (Bashirs, Bashirs, ALL the Bashirs! And all the Kukalakas!) or TOS/Dominion (Changeling Kirk, Changeling Spock, Changeling Uhura, Changeling Everybody).
Maybe they'll add Kukalaka as crew.
On the plus side, DS9/Augments means we'd get all of Bashir's friends, which means Admiral Patrick! :P
Why is Discovery missing, on the poll regarding your favorite Star Trek show?
Seems a little odd since DB advertised (with Mega Event and plenty new crew)the show so much.

I think cause they just did a Disco event that they are looking to do something else.
That being said, Disco still doesn't poll well here on the forums at least as far as favorite show. Usually it TAS and ENT kinda vie for the bottom.
I voted TOS and Augments. A Kirk/Khan event would be nice
Despite my vote for Dominion and my ultimate want for Romulans, I could get on board with this.
Admiral of the Haus of GaghGagh, Starbase level 94, we are not accepting members at this time.
Captain of the voyage vessels: Queen of Bashir, Landsknecht, and Sunspear, the first luxury starship cruiseliners.
Amenities include wifi, fully-functioning holodecks, a full-service bar, 3 party decks, a Trill spa, and a business centre.
Fun fact: The ships are propelled by bouncy castle technology.
I wonder if the lack of Romulans and Vulcans in the poll is an indication that they will be featured in the next mega event between now and the one we are voting on.
I was thinking this might be a possibility for the Romulans.
Vulcans though, I doubt a bit, unless they're focusing on a Unification theme.

I do want them to shy away from being too free-wheeling with non-canon crew though. Changeling TOS is just bordering on unacceptable for me. Some here and there is fine, but a whole mega-event of non-canon characters would be problematic. The Mirror Event worked because those comics probably have a contract with STT or something, so we can treat them as semi-canon. But as far as I know Changeling Kirk, Spock, Uhura, et al do not exist in any publications.

Well she wasn't a founder but Martia did a pretty good Kirk impression
I would have voted Borg had you given the option (why were so many options left off the table?). The Borg are truly an underused resource in this game. It's somewhat criminal that there isn't even a Borg faction. There needs to be...

I don't want a second Borg mega-event simply because I don't even know who we could have in it. Especially because we already have the queen bee herself. I mean I guess we could get a version of Hugh from that Lore two-parter, more Seven of Nine is always good, Assimilated Phlox would be a great addition, and we could re-run one or two already existing crew. But just 5 characters cannot a mega-event make.
But I do want a Borg faction for sure.

Well, there IS the alternative of having the Voyager Borg Queen to go with our other one (event or just faction). I guess they could also add Borg Drone #13 of 39,294, #697 of 4319, #595 of 23,491, etc. First Contact Enterprise-E assimilated crew drones, and lest we not forget all the rest of the stranded Collective in the Delta Quadrant (we currently only have one – Riley Frasier) Borg Collective Chakotay?
Don't have a Google ID; don't want one. Annoyed that is required in order to vote in this.
Because reasonable people have an account. And it is super easy.
What does that have to do with being reasonable?
It also bothers me that you are required to log into a Google account to vote in this poll. I just don't see why that should be necessary. Google is an entirely seperate company from DB. I shouldn't need a Google account to take part in a DB-poll.

I'll agree that "reasonable" is a poor choice of words here, but I also think it's reasonable that DB use a free and easy-to-use platform (like GForms) to do a survey. A google account is very common (at least in the US). It is possible to create a form and not require a google account, but I suspect they are doing it to combat spam answers.
I agree, it would be nice if they just used their own forum platform, but they might not have a way to hide the poll results AND it would require players to sign up for the forums to vote on it (if they accessed it via Twitter or Facebook). It wouldn't surprise me if a higher fraction of the player base had Google accounts than had DB forum accounts.
The more time that goes by and the more I look at the title of this thread, the more convinced I am that this vote will affect the mega event after the next one we participate in.
Summer mega event..
Wonder what the Spring Mega event will bring.
I noticed as everyone the lack of Romulan option.. I Also noticed Discovery as not being an option.
A) it's next. they don't want to over kill Discovery
C) it's going to be Featured in season 2 some how. (I know.. Canon. But Enterprise did some good work on that front)
I'm assuming it's B or C
So.. wonder what the spring will bring ?
Animated vs Hirogen ?
Ekk. Lol. That could only go badly.

But Lucien wants to tempt the Hirogen to hunt Romulans!
Last Mega while it expanded the variety of Andorians, alongside an accessible Mudd, lacked any inclusion of Archer and was overly Discovery focused. Discovery has yet to gain widespread support from many fans, a significant number remain hostile to it. Hoping next mega will be Dominion but please no oversaturation of Discovery tainting the theme.
I'm hoping that the "Favorite Series" and "Favorite Faction" questions will be mutually exclusive to some degree, because the thought of mashing up ENT with Hirogen (as an example) would really put me off to the whole idea. Perhaps DB designed the survey to determine which show is the most popular, then how they could design a Mega-Event around the relevant factions to whatever show gets the most votes. For example, DS9 with Dominion, Cardassian, Ferengi, Bajoran (didn't notice if the latter was an option), etc could easily lead to a solid event. OTOH, the aforementioned ENT/Hirogen would just be stupid. Likewise, TNG could have a Cardassian arc that would be pretty cool--we could have Mark Alaimo's original Gul Macet with his weird body armor and funky pseudo-goatee. Gul Evek turned out to be pretty cool as well (and in two series), they could toss in Captain Jellico as well (and others). For the DS9/Cardassians: Aamin Marritza disguised as Gul Darhe'el, other versions of Garak, Tekeny Ghemor (and Iliana--the real version--for that matter), Corbin Entek, Gul Rusot, Natima Lang, and so on. They were a huge part of DS9, and like so many other factions, are totally unrepresented. Hell, they didn't even have a huge turnout in VOY, and DB still released Crell Moset.
I'm with a lot of you in that the Dominion War, being the most significant geopolitical happening and the largest Alpha Quadrant war that took place during any of the series, should have already had a mega-event, and should most definitely have more characters. How about a 'What You Leave Behind' event? Rather than churning out an endless and ridiculous parade of non-canon characters, why can't DB actually just use the characters that, you know, were in the show and were awesome? The Dominion appeared in DS9 from S02-S07, and how many do we actually have?
There was an entire season in ENT devoted to the Xindi arc, and there's less Xindi characters than there are versions of Michael Burnham. I'm in agreement about the Borg Faction, but I also think there ought to be a Xindi faction. It's getting pretty tiresome constantly getting Federation-focused events. At least they're started including different factions, but is anyone else tired of so many Federation characters?
I won't even get started on ships. *sigh*

I'm pretty sure DSC wasn't an option because they've been hyper-focused on DSC in a mega event, as well as a number of regular events. Since CBS/Paramount have required people in the US to pay at least $5/month just to watch their new version, I had very little interest in it. I got a subscription for one month after all of the episodes came out and rolled my eyes through the ridiculous lack of continuity and a pretty dull story. The Klingons, the spore drive, the mutiny/redemption...I mean, come on. The producers seem to be back-pedaling now, saying that Season 2 will "reconcile" the continuity issues (which went over great when ENT, Season 4 tried it--and I liked ENT). I really hope we go a long time without cranking out Michael Burnhams, Ash Tylers, and others, with their ridiculously OP stats. Why do they have so many variations of characters from a show with 15 episodes, anyway?

DB, please, at least exhaust relevant/cool canon characters and factions that got actual quality screen time before you keep making up ridiculous non-canon fodder characters. lol.
It would be really awesome to get some more Legendary Romulan characters. Having a Mega Event with a new 5* Romulan character/s would be something that me and my fleet (Romulan Tal Shiar) would throw down some money.
Also, having the Scimitar as a 5* ship has been something that Ive been looking forward to.
Possibly having the original Romulan bird of prey as a 2* or 4* ship.
The story could incorporate the Dominion if Lovok was one of the featured crew considering that he was an undercover operative with the Dominion, so both Dominion and Romulan fans could get their fill! Potential Dominion Characters
• Weyoun 5
• Yelgrun
• Legat Damar
• Thot Pran
Having a Dominion 5* added at the same time like what was done with Discovery/Shenzou would be pretty cool. Id like to see a Jem'hadar Battleship in my line up.
Having themed packs of both new Romulan/Dominion characters and blueprints for new ships would definitely make my and my fleets summer event definitely one to look forward to!

I totally agree with the lack of 5* Romulan characters--off the top of my head, I can't think of any other than Shinzon or Romulans in disguise (i.e., Data) who are actually Romulan. Senator Vreenak would be a great addition, since he aided in the non-aggression pact with the Dominion, plus getting a voice clip of him saying "It's a faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaake!" would be a magical rainbow unicorn carrying a pot of gold.
They could also incorporate Praetor Neral and Chairman Koval (of the Tal Shiar). The versions of Weyoun are all pretty cool, in that they all had their own personalities. The Defector, Weyoun 6, The Treacherous Weyoun 7, and The Brutal Weyoun 8.
Yelgrun just has to happen because Iggy Pop. No further discussion.
I hoped that Thot Gor would be a 5*, then they released him/her (gender unknown) as a 4* as a drop in Voyages. Considering s/he was the spokesperson and head of the Breen military for the Dominion, 4 stars seems way under-powered. Hopefully, at least Thot Pran will be 5*.
As for the Founder, it seems like there would be limited options for her, but her character assumed many roles. I think a Diseased Founder would be a great addition too, since she became much more brutal and cutthroat after contracting the disease--much more authoritarian brutality than diplomacy (maybe CMD/SEC/DIP in that order).

The poll is designed to give you the illusion of choice i bet it'll be a Tng/DS9 Dominion mega event
The extremely limited Augment possibilities in the Collections (12 characters possible, of which six are Bashir, with the rewards for ten crew needing at least four FFFE Legendaries) make me think more Augment characters must be coming, and it seems to have been a popular option based on feedback here.
I'd expect TNG to top the popularity polls.
So I wonder if they'll continue their non-canon TNG Augments? It has struck me that Augment Worf wouldn't have any forehead ridges, for example.
(Just throwing it out there - my preference would also be DS9/Romulans!)

Seems a little odd since DB advertised (with Mega Event and plenty new crew)the show so much.
