That's exactly how I feel. I was all set to get a copy, and hey, now I've saved almost an entire 4* citation/behold or a third of a 5* citation/behold!
I bought him. Maybe he's not worth the amount of honor just based on his stats or stars or whatever else, but I'm like *this close* to finishing 25/25 Doctors, so he's worth it to me.
i bought him for the collection as well.it would be much more expensive to ff the 5 star docs.and since we got 750 honor in the mail message it actually costs 14750 not 15500

The EMH isn't even useful for anything, either, as a male Starfleet character is only useful 3 days per week and you'd be better off keeping Dr Crusher for her 4-day utility.
Come on he only costs 300 Uncommon crew dismissals.
If when you spend merits you average 3 Uncommon crew, then he costs 72.5k merits.
If you average 2 Uncommon crew per a regular x10 pull, he only costs 13.5Mil. credits.
Assuming cost figured through an exponential curve a+b*2^^(crew type)= honor
Crew type, zero for Common crew, one for Uncommon ..., and 4 for Legendary.
DB charges 100000 for legendary and 3500 for Common.
Then
a+b=3500 common crew
and a+b*2^^4=100000 Legendary crew
then a=3500-b
so 100000=(3500-b)+16*b
96500=15b or 19300=3b or b=19300/3
So a=( 3*3500 -19300)/3 or a=-8800/3
Then calculating for Uncommon crew
So -8800/3+(19300/3)*2^^1= (38600-8800)/3 =29800/3 or 9933.333 DB rounds this to 15000 makes sense🤓

why is everyone so up in arms about this???? if you don't want him, DON'T BUY HIM!!! it's not like he makes or breaks the game.. if i think a Honda is overpriced, or I simply dont like it. I DON'T BUY ONE. there are plenty of people that dont share my opinion, and so they buy it...will this really make any difference in any situation under any circumstance????? if he was taken away tomorrow, nothing would change... he is just another card for those who want to buy him

I was personally looking forward to a 2* EMH, so I am disappointed at the irrationally high price.

Having said that, we all know that the honor system pricing is wack. At this point in time, I am not even really chasing five stars, because the only Viable way to do them is either mega freebie or P2W.
