With how often Janeway is included in events, it's almost worth it to grab another 4/4 copy. But I've never really gone for a duplicate crew. I dunno, I'm undecided until I get T'Kuvma. Maybe enough people are turned off that I can sweep in for a top 1,000 finish.
The 2* Janeway looks really forced. I do applaud more 2*s in the game. I guess if Command Wrap Kirk was an excuse for another Kirk.. Although this is only a Janeway with a new haircut. There has to be some episode of Voyager that could inspire a more differentiated 2* Janeway.
T'Kuvma... Well they can't keep power creeping with everybody. Or else we'll be complaining when new 5*s only have 1,500 for base stats. He isn't terrible for gauntlets and voyages, and I won't feel any obligation to buy a 5th star for him.
As for T'Kuvma, I envisioned his card having him with a face of fury, his mouth wide and his eyes wider, arms held up high, summoning the 24 Houses to flock to him in the name of Kahless the Unforgettable. Instead, he looks like he would like to speak to the manager about how long it took to get his appetizer. I've seldom remarked on the card art choices, but this one in particular disappointed me as T'Kuvma was one of the strongest elements of the DIS opener for me. He was something few Klingons before him had been for me: genuinely intimidating. I had hoped to see that reflected in his card, and I don't.
Better than Kortar who is supposed to be the Klingon that killed the Klingon gods, instead he's posing like he's welcoming his bros for weekend of beers and brats.

If you kill all of your people's gods, you get to throw a kegger and invite only the people you really, truly want to have there. Kortar earned his weekend. Let him have it.
Issue #3: Uncommon Janeway. Same hairstyle and same season as the 4* Janeway. Can one identical crew member have two different rarities? Also, why didn't they just use the 2* Saru for the threshold in this event? Are they worried people won't know it's a mega-event if there aren't enough Janeways?
I was ready to spend some money on this event. Now the only excitement remaining is the joy of realizing that I get the next month off from events.
I agree here with this part in particular. SO many hairstyles they could have chosen instead, but mostly, I had actually expected they would use the two star Saru, so that most of us could finally fully fuse him with the one we got through the messages. I like that they made a green Janeway, though they should have changed her hair, but I really wanted to FF my Saru. I can only guess that their reasoning is that they didn’t want two Sarus in the threshold rewards, but still, this was, as usual, a bit sloppily done. I KNOW DB can do better, much better, when they actually try. I just wish they’d actually do so. Sigh.
P.S.- I’m sorry, DB, but I kinda think this new forum **tsk tsk**. The style is ok, but the font is a bit small and the user icons, part of the whole fun of the forum, are now useless because we can barely see them now. Finally, I liked the ranks we got from our posts; ensign, cadet, commander, etc. and I miss them already. I know, complain, complain, complain, but it’s true.
Weirdly enough, I’m also Vulcan Housewife. Also, RNGesus hates me, like really, REALLY hates me.

I agree. Janeway’s hair should have been different. I like a new green Janeway but they could have waited. I expected another uncommon Saru for the threshold rewards and really wanted one so I could FF the one I got from messages. Maybe DB did this because they didn’t want to have two Sarus in the threshold but that seems like a crappy excuse. I know DB can do better but it certainly doesn’t look like they’re trying.
Also, I’d like to take a moment to say that some of the new forum **tsk tsk**. The type is a bit small and the user icons are now virtually pointless. They’re so tiny now. I liked the ranking system for posts as well, ensign, cadet, etc. but that seems to be gone now too. I know this may be a lot of complaining but sometimes it’s needs to be said. Oh, and I’ve already written this comment once, but for some reason the system ate it, totally destroying my post.

The Borg Queen is doing a mic drop, so maybe there's a theme going. T'Kuvma is all "Come at me, Bro", Kortar is all "Let's do a keg-stand, Bro", and Queenie is all "You just got served... Bro"

T’Kuvma stats are underwhelming, and he definitely should have DIP, I was expecting him to be DIP primary. But 1096 base for FFFE is pretty meh.
FO Saru stats are great, though the art is really odd. And it is odd that he has almost as many variants as episodes he has appeared in.
Janeway, 4* inclusion I am totally fine with as I only started playing in March so have not come across her, and her stats are pretty good for an older purple. Though I was surprised that she is rank and Saru is threshold, which usually means that on Sunday, she will be the Commander pack, probably won't be a big earner for DB.
Janeway, 2*, well that is just odd. Sure Captain Janeway should be the 2* to be consistent with Kirk, Archer & Picard (oddly not Sisko as well). But why is that the threshold and not the 2* Saru that for a lot of players they would only have 1/2 from the free one. I have gotten another 2 from voyages.
Presumably there will be other Discovery crew 2* and 3*, I was expecting someone like Milly to drop as 2* for this event.
I have bought one pack and gotten Saru, so will probably end up airlocking one or not need to go all the way to the end of threshold to FF. Now to decide whether to pull again to try and get Janeway or even better Georgiou.
I believe the 25 offer always has the threshold 4*. Because normally you can only get them to 3F but due to community rewards it is possible to FF .
I'm trying to just imagine that the 2* Janeway variant is the impostor Janeway from Live Fast and Prosper.
Maybe if you fuse this 2-star Janeway with 4-star Kilana, that's what you get!
I was going to come and say Dala is another one of my clones, she just hides her ears with that wig. But I mean it's obvious, what's a Vorta to do when you end up in the wrong quadrant? You play to your strengths and become a con artist.

I am sure we’ll have “Fierce T’Kuvma” in the future
Y'all are crazy, the artwork on these characters is fine. It's no where near Klingon Neelix level of bad.
I don't quite agree here.
T'Kuvma honestly looks like Leatherface.
It's baaaaad, real bad.
