Most games do this. I have not seen this happen to me yet though. What platform are you on? Also, how do you have a discussion called "Really?" and not use any of the snl pics of the Really? segment with Seth and Amy. I mean come on, how can you not use them, I mean...
I've played since VIP0 couldn't warp at all and events didn't happen every weekend. I've either already rated it by now or I'm not going to rate it. Seeing this multiple times isn't going to change what has already happened.
There should be limits on how many times an app can ask for a rating, on iOS it’s 3 times per year, for instance. And on Android there should be the option to never ask again.
Sadly enough, offering incentives to users to rate an app is usually against the policies, so there could be no free dil
There's one golden rule when you want something from me: don't p*ss me off. I'll give DB the benefit of the doubt and a few weeks to fix the lack of "don't ask me ever again" option, if not, a glorious one star review is coming eventually when I get tired of it.
That would be a good opportunity to also add this to daily deals and DYC.

Apps usually circumvent the restriction by offering something for clicking a link to the review page without asking for a rating directly. You get something whether you rate it or not.
Just rate 5* regardless of what you think. More people play highly rated games and the more people that play the more fun it is for everyone.
Or, you know, be honest in your rating? So that the Devs have an incentive to actually improve the game, instead of keeping it in maintenance mode?
This feature, by the way, is the big improvement of the 7.3 release. It is a little disheartening to see where development resources are channelled to these days.
So now we have to get this interruption multiple times during game play?
You say multiple times, could you please describe what you experienced because it was set up to avoid being too spammy. You should not see it more than 3 times within a single year.
I guess what I find confusing is the choice to use Quark and Q, both very popular characters, to stand guard on either side. It feels like both extremes are 5 stars! Maybe have AEC on the 1 star side so people will know
I haven’t seen it yet? Does it pop up randomly or just at restarts?
It is only on Windows and Android so far.

On Nov 13 we got an in game mail/msg about the new version 7.3 rollout. That notice included the information about this “rate this app” addition. This version has not been rolled out to all players yet but everyone should be expecting it.
I have an opinion on this topic, but I won't dignify threads with vague titles by staying on the topic of the original post. If you can't extend the community the courtesy of telling us what a thread is about, you don't really deserve to be taken seriously. And I can't get in trouble for hijacking the thread or straying from a topic that doesn't exist.
I'm watching through TNG in preparation for the new Picard show. I didn't think they could out-do the Angel I Riker episode, but then I saw the one where Beverly Crusher basically has a ghost lover in season 7. It's pretty bad. Do you have an episode like that? Like, what was the point of putting this on the air? The show probably would have been better off without this episode.
In DS9, it was the one where Dukat started a Bajoran cult. The whole episode made me want to cringe. In Voyager, it was pretty much the whole Paris/Torres romance. I like both the characters, but they just don't work as a couple. In Enterprise, it's the last episode. I understand that they didn't expect the show to be cancelled, but it's still the worst series finale. In Discovery, it's the first episode. They drug it out to two episodes.
That is easy, the DS9 episode 'Take Me Out to the Holosuite'. We're in the middle of the Dominion War, the ENTIRE Alpha and Beta quadrants are at stake, and we have weeks to teach a bunch of people baseball so Sisko can settle a grudge with an emotional Vulcan captain?! Really?!
In an effort to partake of the sillyness going on and stay on topic with this thread..... Really, people can't give threads more descriptive names... I mean I've done some sort of vague titles but, Really?

So many games have a rating mechanism. I think this is actually the most on-topic post in the thread.
But I forgot about the timing of Take Me Out to the Holosuite episode. It was an otherwise good episode that really was kind of a fail because of the timing.
Thank you for the screenshot.
It is not on all android devices though as I had text on my end so could you give more details like your exact device and android version please?

Brilliant!!
Some type of reward wouldn't be bad for advertising for them.

I sincerely hope this self-serving feature wasn't part of the incredibly urgent recent QoL updates...

Edited the title for clarity.
What device are you playing on?
-EDIT-
Posted because the two buttons have no text
