Still got quite a few Dominion crew active so will complain on a different track:
It's a Federation faction event but due to the result of the last event the Feds are now bonus runs so I'm gonna burn through all my transmissions before the event! Damn it!
(just kidding btw I can buy more and I know we'll get some during the event rewards)
We really needed to have KCA pull through the last event! Needed to farm that bloodwine
I guess if we are going this route then the following could apply:
5* Galvatron. The Transformers, The Movie
4* Demona. Gargoyles
4* Kwame. Captain Planet
All voiced by Trek actors of course.
Lol, well if you wanted voice actors, you could go completely Gargoyles that had Frakes, Sirtis, Spiner, Burton, Dorn, Mulgrew, Nichols, Colm Meaney and just for good measure, John Rys Davies, David Warner and Gerrit Graham in at least one episode if not recurring or main cast.
Personally I'm just tired of the Dominion crew...we just had them in the mega-event and DS9 was never my favorite Trek (though I understand many love it). Last week's Sato/Keiko/Mirror challenge was a nice change of pace but now Dominion again? There are so many other species/factions/shows in this universe that I would love to see more of but the longer I play the more DS9-heavy this game feels.
For you Quantum Leap Fans:
5* Colonel Grat
4* Captain Johnathan Archer (We have all these variants, but not one as simply Captain)
4* 1701 Jadzia Dax (She played navy nurse Lt. Lisa Sherman (Al's girlfriend, if I recall)
Ziggy, make this happen.
J.G. Hertzler was in an episode too. I watched Quantum Leap for the first time recently and when I got to this episode, I didn't recognize him out of alien makeup, but I recognized the voice.

Yes, I thought about that but wanted a little diversity, when I thought about Galvatron it sealed the deal.
My favourite TV series, and in my opinion, one of the best written series of all time as well.
I was transfixed by that show. After season one it cranked like nothing else. I just loved that story arc and the character development. I even bought the boxed set, which is something I never do. Bester was one of the creepiest villains ever, and the Narn/Centauri plot line was epic. G'kar is still one of my all-time favourite aliens. Plenty of female representation across the board. It had some truly weird moments but heck they did a superb job. I just loved how complex the characters were, where the bad guys had some great qualities and the good guys did bad things too. No-one was ever really shown as a simplistic good versus evil trope which I think has to be one of the most realistic portrayal of human (and alien) behaviour presented in sci-fi universes.
Yes Babylon 5 was great! I liked that they brought more focus on the station duties like cargo loading and workers than DS9 did. And the Shadow storyline was great! I still prefer DS9 to Babylon 5 but both are great.
I had heard originally that Paramount was going to take on the show and last minute they nixed it and went with a space station show in the Star Trek universe which became DS9.
I remember recording all the episodes on VHS and sitting down a couple of years after the show ended and binge watching four or five episodes a day for about a month. It was the only way to really appreciate how good the writing and acting were.
I have to say, despite all my issues with DB, that this M*A*S*H theme is brilliant. I love it.
I'm surprised too. Obviously I don't know the staff but I'd be amazed if there's anyone there that was even born before the show went of the air so I applaud this theme. In fact, it's half of why I decided to come back.

MASH reruns are on MeTV regularly.
Even my young nephew has caught some accidentally...and he's not even in school yet.
Art looks pretty good. Usually cards look better in-game, so I'll be curious to see how they turn out. I've got weekend plans, but might be tempted to burn some chronitons after all for the 5star if her stats are good.
So hold on, call me dumb, but I still don't get it.
We've got Rene Auberjonois from an appearance on M.A.S.H., somehow with Odo's changeling "smooth" face + hair, and also they're working him into this story? But its not some weird crossover event or anything, its just for funzies?
EDIT: Just to be sure, we're DEFINITELY not the only ones making the M.A.S.H. comparison, right?
DB seems pretty simple in their thought process with this art. Army? Check, have him saluting. Chaplain? Check, put a crucifix on his neck. Done.
Next thing we know we are going to get Professor X version of Picard a TJ Hooker Kirk or a Dr Okun Data ...... This is ridiculous, this is a star trek game, they have thousands of characters to draw inspiration from.
Seriously people. Non canon crew is not a new concept in this game. I don't understand why people are getting hung up on this Odo. I think he looks awesome and I'm looking forward to adding him to my crew.

No, no, that's all good. I don't mind either. My question was, is this the M.A.S.H. character or just some random Odo with a crucifix around his neck?
I just want to know whether we're in crossover territory here.

It would be unofficial crossover. Real crossover costs money in rights fees to MASH.
If we are playing six degrees of Star Trek event...
Gary Lockwood (Gary Mitchell)
Keir Dullea, who was in Star Lost, created by Harlan Ellison ("City On the Edge of Forever")
both starred in "2001, A Space Odyssey" of course.
And Dr. Richard Daystrom whose Trek episode had HAL's cousin M-5.
Really flimsy with the Dominion inclusion in the storyline. DB probably thought they were doing us a favor, using mostly recently acquired crew. If so, thanks for the thought, I guess?

We basically do in appearance if not character.
You know, time for the merit fee for unfrozen the crew from the vault say goodbye if you guys keep doing this to us...
My apologies. {My comment was a play on a scene from an old movie from the 1990s.}

It's a Faux-do M.A.S.H-up

That would be a good combination as we don't have many with those three skills together.

I think you are only a veteran after you are discharged.
Considering the entire thing is made up anyway, I say give him Veteran.
