Shouldn't Army Chaplain Odo be a Veteran? Being in the army is kind of the definition of a veteran.
I think you are only a veteran after you are discharged.
Many will qualify someone who is currently serving as a veteran. Once discharged, in any condition other than dishonorable, you are entitled to more veteran benefits.
For all intents and purposes - this Odo should have the Veteran trait.
I mean, that's the beauty of these non-canon characters that I don't think DB is really taking advantage of. They could give him whatever traits or skills they want, and nobody could really dispute it.
Im not crazy about her art, her size is an issue. As you can clearly see, for some reason Dehner is much smaller than other crew. Her head avatar is much smaller than others.
Also, got her on a mistake pull while checking the rewards

They always fix the head size over the first few days. Remember Giant Nightmare Klingon Neelix? And Commander Chapel, too, actually?
Keevan is back as the 3-star ranked reward They really must love him. Just 2 weeks ago, they wanted to have him there as well, but got exchanged at the last minute because he already was in the daily rewards last month.
[GER - SF] Star Fleet - recruiting active captains with event participation. Our Starbase is level 134 and we use the Line App (optional) for spam, bragging, jokes, motivation and sharing tactics. German language.
I see what they're doing here. Elizabeth Dehner was played by Sally Kellerman. Odo, of course, was played by René Auberjonois, and Antaak was played by John Schuck. All three starred in the movie version of M*A*S*H: Kellerman as "Hot Lips", Auberjonois as Father Mulcahy, and Schuck as Capt. 'Painless' Waldowski (the character for which the theme song "Suicide is Painless" was written).
So, the Army Chaplain Odo is almost certainly Father Mulcahy. Very strange non-canon diversion, but I've gotta say, I'm kind of fond of the idea, bizarre as it is.
HA! I love it too! I just logged in to see what the upcoming event would be and when I saw the three characters I immediately made the connection and got a big laugh from it. It's a great mashup that they've done here - imaginative, clever and even somewhat surreal. I hope we can look forward to getting one of these 'hybrid' mashups each calendar year. There would seem to be plenty of possibilities....

I think this goes to show they need to make more 3*s so the circulation pool is larger.
Admiral of the Haus of GaghGagh, Starbase level 94, we are not accepting members at this time.
Captain of the voyage vessels: Queen of Bashir, Landsknecht, and Sunspear, the first luxury starship cruiseliners.
Amenities include wifi, fully-functioning holodecks, a full-service bar, 3 party decks, a Trill spa, and a business centre.
Fun fact: The ships are propelled by bouncy castle technology.
I'm hung up on why DB is offering Keevan again in as the 3* reward.
Didn't we go though this during the last dominion event? Plus everyone has him from monthly rewards last month. Poor choice for rewards in this event again. Poor choices DB.
I also not to keen about the M*A*S*H Odo. There are MANY other Star Trek characters to draw upon without resorting to non-canons and one as bad as this.
I'm not super fussed about strictly-canon characters, so having a M*A*S*H-inspired Odo (weird as it is to see him with a cross necklace) is fine by me!
can't wait for a Legendary 5* German Shepherd Odo someday, though. 1000+ MED FF

It was a last minute to put Keevan in and then out in the event rewards, it was originally going to be Dukat, then they announced Keevan but went with Gilora.
I have a 2/4* Level 1 Trader Odo languishing in a crew slot. Is it worth training him up for use in the event?
Depends on your crew I suppose. Would someone with 1,368 DIP / 926 SEC (for the faction portion) plus any starbase bonuses be helpful for you?
If resources are limited, depending on where you are in the game, you may want to focus on leveling Chaplain Odo as soon as you get a copy from thresholds instead (if you would have trouble doing both).

It also depends on if you are going for the top 1000 or how far you want to go. For me, this event will be threshold and far enough for another Antaak. I would level him regardless because eventually you will get more of him.
I keep 4* crew at level 1 or 2 until they have an event or are fully fused. Then I level them up to 100. If that also immortalized them, I freeze them if they don't make too 10 in their category for shuttles or voyages (or in special cases keep for gauntlet or arena).
In your case, it is an event, so I would level the crew. But I am 225 immortalized and no longer new.

Also something to keep in mind: it being a hybrid event, the Faction phase will be greatly overshadowed in VP by the 2nd phase (Galaxy). And during a Galaxy, you only need a handful of bonus crew. So having a large contingent of bonus crew this weekend isn't nearly as important as it would be for a full Faction event.

Is that a second 4/4 Antaak you're going for? It had crossed my mind, too, but then I decided against it. Would you mind sharing your reasoning for a second copy?

No. I have him at 2/4. Community rewards will give one, and I want to win another. My med crew is fairly solid right now. I only want 1 of him immortalized.
just seeking clarification Klingon = Klingon Empire not KCA? just want to be sure as i'm low on merits.
Yes it's Klingon Empire

The Mega 3s were Gilora, Dukat, Garak, and Dax.
Though he was last months reward. (shrug)

He only has 2 skills but still has really good base DIP. At 2/4 he should probably break 700 DIP if you have decent starbase bonuses.
One of my favorite scenes:
Bester: I want your body.
Lyta: [shouts] What? Are you out of your mind?
Bester: Not now. When you are done with it.

So...
Fed - 0 3-seaters. Klingon and Dominion each 2. Heh.
I think it was planned as 8 shuttles event and some were cut off a bit more creatively.
