It's such a shame that Jack Crusher is 3* instead od SR or legendary.
3 star human crew don't have any use except for the collection except maybe Boxer Chakotay whose stats are high enough for using in Chakotay events.
I like 3* star crews only when they are a main casts just for lolz but completely a new card debuting as a rare crew is weird.
Agreed if Jack Crusher was going to be in an event where we could get all stars on him. But I would rather have him as a 3 star that I can obtain and freeze than a four or five star pack only.
I don't even know why they make obvious filler characters like that as threshold rewards, it makes going for anything beyond minuet a waste of shuttle boosts.
Popular characters with good arts are often weak while unpopular or cards with art are power creeped.
But this is a shame, a faction event in the mega event should be a culmination of all themed characters we got in previous events but now I even think that it will be Minuet and out...
The Mega Event is pretty TNG heavy. I will be surprised if it's anyone other than TNG for the final Legendary. Who wants a new Riker?
Picard IS the final legendary, isn't he? As in he's the legendary crew for NEXT week's event, which is the finale, which means that the threshold legendary next week will be for the week after, which is a new event, not connected to the mega and oh no I've gone cross-eyed.
You're right.
Tuxedo Nog
Gloria
Data V
Musketeer Picard
This new system continues to confuse me lol.
I really do not understand the point of the new system? other then to fix what is not broken? and to make things really confusing? It has to hurt whales a bit more than us an oridnary mortals, I would think, since they have to buy blind now and a week ahead of time without knowing what the stats are for the next legend reward. I am kind of use to not having the legend that you actually need for the event, so maybe they think it helps balance? no idea lol

It makes the ranked reward useful right away even if you only have 1 copy. The theory is clearly that more people will be inspired to try because it benefits them in the following event which means they will sell more boosts or chrons for the current event. And you do know the stats in advance of going for the character. I do not know if that all is working out as they envisioned, but the logic behind it is pretty clear.
Keep in mind that Quark has higher proficiency rolls, but his fully-fused base stats are about the same as a 2/4 Ambassador Shras.
Prof rolls does nothing in a faction event. Pure base status is all what matters, as you probably know.
I don't believe this to be true at all. I have run many of the same faction missions with exactly the same crew and had both successes and fails, both in Events and not. Crit rolls matter! (In every aspect of the game)
Musketeer Picard (New) - this crew will be featured event crew in the event starting on 10/25.
Fully Fused Fully Equipped Level 100 Skills: CMD 485 (74-148) DIP 815 (231-455), SEC 1111 (248-540)
Traits: Hologram, Duelist, Hero, Inspiring, Tactician
Not bad, at least he's SEC voyage crew. I guess this mega is just midrange crew, another voyage SEC is helpful at least, and I'm so low on SEC crew he's my #5 base when FF.

I believe characters are ranked for selection based on skill only in faction missions. If you passed and failed it means you were probably close to the middle of the bell curve for actual success and failure rate despite what the theoretical % success rate says.
Also, bonus crew (please correct me if I'm wrong), multiply the boost bonus. Main event crew triple that 250 or more skill points you throw on them so they can still be useful with lower stats depending what you use. I have had 3/4 characters sitting at level 10 skyrocket up the selection tool with a 4* or 5* bonus.
An another note @Shan, it seems Musketeer Picard is missing the Human trait.
Same as Musketeer La Forge.
It seems inconsistently applied to holograms overall. Hippocrates Noah, Doctor Chaotica, Cyrus Redblock, Minuet, Admiral Picard, Vic Fontaine, and Lady Beverly have it, for examples, while The Professor, Goddess of Empathy Troi, no version of the Doctor, and Hologram Barclay do not.
I must say, this mega is so DIP and CMD heavy, especially DIP, like let's ease in a little more of the other skills if possible. So far out of the 10 event crew (mega legendary included) there have been 6 with DIP as their main skill, 1 with DIP as secondary, and 2 with DIP with it as tertiary. So 9/10 of the mega event crew have DIP, that's a bit overdoing it.
Admiral of the Haus of GaghGagh, Starbase level 94, we are not accepting members at this time.
Captain of the voyage vessels: Queen of Bashir, Landsknecht, and Sunspear, the first luxury starship cruiseliners.
Amenities include wifi, fully-functioning holodecks, a full-service bar, 3 party decks, a Trill spa, and a business centre.
Fun fact: The ships are propelled by bouncy castle technology.
I did one pull of the event pack, got Data V (I was hoping for Quark, but I'll take Data).
I just started up on staring Tempted Data, because I want a useful 5/5 Data on my crew, but maybe I'll work on Data V instead? He has a nice combo of ENG and SCI.
Comments
It means most of the event missions will be SCI, ENG and MED. 🤗. Sorry couldn't help myself.
According to the Traits from the Googlesheets tool, he's a hologram, so he will have the non-human benefit in challenges.
I hope he's not a pain to level, because he is vault bound immediately. Shame, since I really like the character and the art.
Indeed I did! Corrected!

Yeah its a shame, he has such great artwork and ends up in the freezer, thx to his 2016 status(and even back then it wasn t great).

Tomorrow you sleep well.
It's a bit sad to let the cat out of the bag, all that good replicator fuel you just wasted!

Statwork: horrific as usual

Yup, just pointing out how awful the stats are.
