Doh! I accidentally added them to the copy that will be 2.08, rather than to the one published as 2.07. Updated the link in the OP to a copy of 2.07 that has both of them in. Thanks for letting me know!

Um, Jordan718, instead of asking for Leshy to update the spreadsheet according to your own personal timetable, you could instead compare your cadets & new crew in the game itself. You know, make some notes of stats & traits & such stuff.
Since when is it wrong to politely ask for a crew update? It's not my timeline, it's the timeline of when the game releases new crew.
As far as the rest of your comments, the entire point of the spreadsheet is so that we don't have to do all the comparisons and calculations manually. Your suggestion of doing it myself entirely defeats the point of the DNA checklist in the first place. Sheesh.

I found a way to add newly added crew to the existing sheet myself (in involved updating the Stats and Necessities tabs and adding the new crew stats) and adding the new names to the Crew Members tab.
Its about a 3 minute process and a bit of copying and pasting original code to the new lines. No advanced Excel skills needed.
It is a temporary measure (and I found a few glitches in my logic this last round) but its enough to get by until the official update is published.
It wont solve the "Is this new Cadet better?" question, but does help in the missions/collections/best skill decisions.

Just an idea, and I apologize if this was suggested before and wouldn't work for some reason (there's a lot of posts to read through to look for the answer, and I can't think of a reason it wouldn't...)
Many people have suggested finding a way to mark characters in progress in a practical way, but since there are so many variables, especially with equipping, that's hard to do. But I think there are certain basics most people follow.
We could do a drop down for current fusing. A 1* would obviously be FF as soon as they are in your roster. A 4* could had between 1 and 5 *s. This would solve one dimension of the character leveling.
The other is the level itself, which is the more challenging piece. But I suspect most people who level as they play, assuming they have the training to do so, usually level the characters through to the next max level, then work on equipping, and as soon as all 4 slots are equipped, they advance them and level to the next decade. So we could do a drop down with the options of {1, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, FE}. The difference between 100 and FE is that the level 100 character has the levels but not all of the equipment. There are many who leave their characters at 1 until they decide to work on that character, but the level 1 default would work nicely for them.
With this information in the sheet, the sheet could let players know when they have the stats to attempt some of the nodes they're missing characters for, help figure out which characters to pick from beholds, and which characters to focus on.
I can help try to implement this if wanted, but I don't want to dig into someone else's project without being invited.

Thanks for the suggestion. Unless I am misunderstanding what you are suggesting, the issue is not in adding the necessary fields to keep track of character progression. It is in adding and maintaining the stats for these crew.
The sheet currently holds the stats for over 550 crew, fully fused, at level 100, and fully equipped. In order to give the correct stats for any crew at any level bracket and at any fused status, it would either need to contain those stats a few dozen times over for all possible combinations, or be able to pull the stats directly from the wiki (and the wiki tends to have quite a few missing stats for non-FF/FE crew) or from a game API, if one exists.
Oh wouldn't it be wondrous to do that. But as Leshy stated, doing that for every crew member would be a full time job. You might be able to pull the JSON data, but would need to know where it is stored on line and then how to parse it. Other Unity games use the same mechanic, but it can be buried deep in the web code.

Sorry if this has been explained elsewhere but a search is yielding no posts, and I can't find a legend anywhere on the Google sheet, but what do the acronyms on the "why do I Need" column mean? Like "AUF", "ACF"? Also what do things like "SEC 3* max" mean? I know it deals with the security skill, and the * is how many stars the character has, but I'm not getting what the MAX is for.
Again, sorry if it's been answered elsewhere, but I feel like I'm missing our on important aspects of the sheet because I don't understand portions of the Lexicon.

I've noticed that some of the characters don't line up when you sort them alphabetically by the character column with the alphabetical sort in game. Tucker is one of them. I think that the game sorts him as Trip instead of Tucker. Some of the others I've seen are:

Unfortunately I am unable to replicate this. The character column is a simple text column, so any alphabetical sorting by that column should sort them exactly by the names as listed in the column. It does on my version of the sheet. Can you share a copy of yours where it goes wrong?

Ah sorry, I misunderstood your post at first – I thought you meant the sheet was not sorting properly.
You are right – it would be ideal if the sorting order in the sheet were identical to the one in-game. Unfortunately, the alphabetical sorting in ST:T does not go by actual crew names, nor by character names, but by a fairly inconsistent internal list.
If we for example look at Mirror Archer, Hologram Barclay, and Tempted Data, the game sorts them as Archer, Barclay, and Data.
However, Dr. Toby Russell, Prospero Data, and The President of Earth are sorted by Dr, Prospero, and The, respectively.
You have found a few more examples where the game is actually not listing them as you would expect or as it likely should.
Some of those are a bit debatable – Amanda Grayson could indeed as easily be an 'Amanda' as a 'Grayson'. However, I have taken the character names from the ST:T wiki, and I would prefer to stay consistent with that to avoid any mistakes in the future if more versions of some crew are added to the game.
As said, the list of 'character' names is purely a text list, so feel free to modify them on the 'Crew Members' tab if you really prefer them in a different order.
On a related note, the newest crew is in the 2.10 version that's now up!

It's an interesting question but what I do is the following:
Make a copy of the new sheet
Starting at the last sheet, copy the values from 'Starbase and Collection Bonuses' and other self adjusted values and paste to new
Under 'Missions' copy the values as required from the H and C columns and paste where they should
Under 'Crew Members' sort the entire sheet by the column headings of 'version' and also then by name on both old and new workbooks. I then copy the C (Active), D (Cryo'd) and E (Notes) columns on the old and past in new.
I also have some extra stuff on the Introduction sheet that I copy for my own notes. This way my old values are quickly brought across and then I resort the entire 'Crew Members' sheet by Name only so it's back the way it was. I think you may be better getting the new sheet as sometimes the traits are updated so you'll need to keep up to date on that but not that Leshy as gone the extra mile and included what's changed on the first page that will help. Sometimes a new feature may be added so you may need to get the new version also.

minor issue I encountered today:
The Crew Members sheet says Sybok is in a collection, but when I search for his name on the Collections tab he is not showing up. I guess he should appear in To Boldly Go?
Sybok is included in Live Long and Prosper (Vulcan) and To Boldly Go (Inspiring).
He correctly appears in both collections on my copy of the sheet. Note that the Collections tab only lists the crew that you do not yet have. If Sybok is marked as active or frozen, he no longer appears on there (but then he should also no longer have the Collection requirement on the Crew Members tab...)
If you can share a copy of your sheet, I can have a look at it.
