Suggested Collections

Like the title says, I had some ideas for collections that could be added to the game and I wanted to share them here.

First, the Food & Beverage collection. Any character holding a food or drink item in their portrait would fall into this collection. Technician Rom, Bartender Quark, General Martok, and so on.

Next is the Armed & Dangerous collection. This would feature any crew that has a weapon in their portrait. Defiant Commander Worf, Enterprise-E Picard, Seven of Nine, etc.

And last, the Furniture collection. Okay, I haven't come up with a better name for this one, but it would have anyone with a piece of furniture in their portrait. Conditioned La Forge, Interfaced Barclay, Professor Sato, etc.

I'm curious to know what other collections you guys have thought of.

    Our Last Best Hope

Grilka, Kang, Telek R'Mor, Senator Cretak, Number One, Nurse Chapel, Lwaxana Troi, Sergey Rozhenko, Zero One, Fesek, Brunt, Weyoun, Penk, Shran, Suder, Silik, Surak... there's a lot of them, but you get the idea. Make Admiral Leyton the 5* reward you get for completing the collection, since he was the only character to appear in both shows (I mean, Hague was right, but apart from that).

    • Mirror Mirror (Mirror Universe Chars)

To Boldly Go is already used for Inspiring. May I suggest "Be Bold. Be Courageous." for Explorers?

Series and movie core crew. Several. We have many versions of crew from movies as well as basic core crew from series.
    Vics lounge
    Mirror universe
    Times Arrow, crew needed
Mixed species deanna, alexander, tarses, spock, belanna, naomi, sela
    Klingon

I can't believe it took 8 replies to get to the obvious one. Mirror universe has potential for 2 collections, KCA and Terran/Terran empire. It's even possible to squeeze a third as Terran slaves and Terran empire being seperate collections (possibly a Terok Nor collection, rather than slaves as some were already free before being shown on screen).
  • We got one for the Gauntlet crew, now we need one for the four (?) merger crews.

Or maybe I just want an excuse to cite my new Evolved Janeway I was finally able to make!
  • I love these suggestions.

    Mythos: Apollo, Ardra, Lucien, etc...
    Mythological beings essentially.

Entire Series collections. Like all of the main cast members from DS9, TOS, TNG, etc... Really epic collections here.

Cybernetics - all Androids (not holograms)

    Qplah! - major klingons!

Ya these can be exciting. Wish there was a to display what collections I have completed and such to friends. Some major opportunity to do some showing off being lost here.

EDIT: Ooo and some others would be major milestone episodes. Like for TNG: Best of Both Worlds - crew exclusively from those episodes. Or DS9: Sacrifice of Angels (or You are cordially invited). Or Voyager: Scorpion. Etc...

Yes. I had that thought too but my list is long. Terran rebellion and KCA. I also have thought of a formal dress (guys in tuxes, ladies in dresses) collection, but kinda figured it may be covered in vics lounge. Also sec 31 is gaining enough for a collection. I have lots of ideas. Im sure some are the same or similar to other thoughts. And we can only ask for so much at a time.

How about a "Wrath of Khan" collection so we can finally figure out if Finger Guns Chekov is from that movie or VI?

    From another thread:
But isn’t his pose from Generations?

It's from VI, when he's pantomiming along with his question, "Vhy not simply waporize them [the gravity boots]?"

    zfklj6u9qyj6.jpg

Also, he gets his name "First Officer Chekov" because he was serving as Captain Spock's first officer. I dunno who Harriman's first officer was in Generations, but it wasn't Chekov. (Also, if a Chekov were made from his appearance there, I hope they title him "CMO Chekov".)

    Powerful Entities and Civilizations

There are a lot of extant options already: Q, Trelane, Prophet Sarah Sisko, Pah-Wraith Keiko, Apollo, maybe even characters like The Caretaker, Portal 63, and The Travler. Certainly, there are plenty of episodes to mine for more.

Somewhat by necessity, this would be a Legendary heavy collection. Maybe we could squeeze in a super rare Melllvar down the line.
Vaughn Armstrong and Jeffrey Combs collections.
We have good foundations for J.G. Hertzler and Suzie Plakson as well, and I'd love to see some Clint Howard characters, although that would be a small collection, even if padded with a Mirror Balok.
Six degrees in Inter-species Veterinary Medicine. Treating all manner of critters, from Tribbles to Humans.

    Sorry to derail but -
Also, he gets his name "First Officer Chekov" because he was serving as Captain Spock's first officer.

    - was he? As in, Captain Spock was in command of the Enterprise at that point, Chekov was XO, and Kirk was attached and in command just for the Gorkon mission? That's interesting, I've watched IV I don't know how many times, but never considered that. Now that I think about it, the CinC saying to Kirk the Klingons would think twice about attacking "the Enterprise under your command" does kind of sound like what he'd say if that were a specific assignment they'd made. Well wow, you learn something new every day.

To clarify, the 1701-A was Kirk's ship; the C-in-C just meant that the Klingons would respect Kirk and the Enterprise more than, say, Sulu and the Excelsior (or Kirk/Excelsior or Sulu/Enterprise). Spock formally assumes command after the arrest of Kirk and McCoy, which tells us that Kirk was the ship's captain. When Spock did that, he moved up the food chain and took Chekov with him.
