I just finished rewatching "Year of Hell". CMD/SEC/ENG makes the most sense to me for Desperate Captain Janeway. It's a strong showcase of her dedication to her command. She spends most of her time trying to keep her crew safe. And she tends to repairs personally several times.
We never see her build any of the alliances. They're just sprung on us; "Oh, by the way, sometime during the commercial break, I made some friends." We only see their ships and never even hear from them, as all the coordination is done by audio between Janeway and her own senior staff. She was surely diplomatic somehow, but we don't see it and it isn't important to her arc in the story.
Anyway, I'mma focus on farming for 4* Casings and Polyalloys for her inevitable watch. I wonder if 989 Quantum Chronometers will be enough....

Eh, we're only musing about Janeway in "Year of Hell". And in fairness, she didn't just make an alliance with the Borg to get home faster and safer. She made an alliance with the Borg to get home faster and safer and a Seven of Nine ratings boost.
Finally someone noteworthy as a recurring crew... also think she should have a strong cmd + sec with a decent eng third. As they have been patching up voyager a lot
For the announcement we do not necessarily announce the final name of the crew, it is more about letting players know about what type of crew will be part of the Mega-Event

I love voyager so this will be amazing. However, I am most excited for Jett Reno! I hope she is a legendary.
Now that I’m caught up on Discovery, I can safely say Reno is one of my two favorite characters from the show...we’re long overdue for her debut in the game.
Remember that time Janeway had a band-aid on her finger while figuring out a scientific dilemma in engineering? That qualifies her for MED, ENG and SCI doesn't it? I definitely think that should be her skill set for the Mega. 🤗
I think it unlikely that the event month recurring legendary will be anyone who is major character with other copies in the game. With the exception of Bell Riots Bashir I believe all the rest were crew with no other copies in game. My money is on Obrist though I think it would be cool to have it be Annorax. We only have one Annorax in game and few have it. He would be cool for the theme as he was central to the show.
