Eh, just give us Data. Strain canon, break canon for all I care. Just give me Data. Though Brent Spiner is a great actor, if I cannot have Data why not allow him a new character like how Jeffrey Combs got to do many different ones. It would have to be some sort of alien though as we know what Brent Spiner looks like without makeup.
Sure we know what he looks like without makeup. He looks like Arik Soong.

The whole series Seven should call Picard by his Borg name Locutus.
They need a scene where he is going off on a tangent for some reason, and she calls him that to shock him back on track. By jarring him for a second. Like a verbal slap.
"The truth is like a lion; you don't have to defend it. Let it loose; it will defend itself."
Trailer is looking great! And Seven is a great addition, too.
As i play Star Trek Online, that blue Borg Ship does remind me very much of the liberated Borg the Federation is helping out. AND Seven and Hugh are working as liason with them, sooo...
It has been suggested that the scene with Data might actually be a holodeck program. Data himself might not actually be back in physical form, as a whole.
Seems very likely. In an STLV interview Brent Spiner said (with only a few episodes left to shoot)
"Up until this point to be honest, I have only worked with Patrick on the set."

Extracting/copying Data’s memories from B-4 and running them through the holodeck to create a holographic Data seems perfectly plausible to me.

Omg, then there would be two Picards.
