@ByloBand, regarding your second point - no, haven't had any issues like that. I'm using the Cube but also with Killy and Garth. I've occasionally mistimed the instant kill, so the Warbird's cloak seems to dodge it (or maybe I'm just legitimately missing the hit). Otherwise, no issues with that battle.
2. Regarding the event itself, is the final fight with the Romulan D'deridex Warbird bugged? I've lost track of the amount of times I've seemingly had my instant damage abilities rebounded back at me, almost killing me and in five instances ACTUALLY killing me. If I sit there and do nothing indefinitely I am perfectly safe but the second I activate either Garth's instant damage ability, RPC's instant damage ability, or the Krayton's instant damage ability, it seems to rebound and hit me after it hits the Warbird. I finish most of these battles with barely any hull left, and a handful of times with zero hull left, has anybody else noticed this?
I have not experienced such thing with the final fight with the Romulan D'deridex Warbird, my Killy on Krayton is very efficient. I have more problem with the first battle
I have two comments to add here, one about the general discussion about the recurring mega idea, and one about the event itself.
1. Regarding Garth and the general idea of mega character niches, IMO (and I mean this, my opinion) every mega event character I've encountered (I joined late so I do not have them all) seem designed to both be useful in their mega, but then fill one long-term role for players. Ru'afo gave people a really high base Engineering skill to help clear a couple of mission nodes, Janeway helped people get a strong Sec/Eng voyager (pun intended), and Minuet helped give people the courage to shove a 5* in the freezer; Garth's niche post-mega seems to be giving people a viable arena performer, and I am interested to see how that goes, and I also think it was a smart move by DB to address that hole in many players' teams.

Just before you start the last battle look at the three ship abilities of your opponent right above the engage button. The leftmost ability is "Disruptor Pulse" and sends 40% of incoming damage back to you, starts at 6s and ends 6s later. So either you kill it before it sets in or you wait til it deactivates again.
Only applies if you are able to send so much damage to the target that 40% of that kills you. Weaker players have it easier here

1. Good point.
2. I've had some relatively close calls with the last ship but never failed. And the Reliant is, once again, a pain on the tush.

At some point tonight I checked my version of the ship and didn't see that 40% reflection ability, but it is entirely possible I missed it, I am VERY deep in the skirmish mental haze at this point!
And yes, if that thing does reflect 40% damage back at me, my setup must be pretty good because it has been enough to nuke me from new full shields/hull five times; based on your description I am more proud than upset ^_^

Something did seem weird with my skirmishes yesterday on the final battle. I did lose a few while I was clicking but I was watching tv so was not paying much attention to it to see what was the cause. Perhaps it was the Garth I had in, I do not know. I will pay more attention today or sub Rura Penthe Commandant in instead of Garth.

Thanx!!!!!!! 🍻
That made a difference. I was pounding my own Krayola Krayton, as well.

It's not your crew. It's the bounceback Damage. See above.

Just as another POV, I've found Phase 2 to be bringing my ship to the brink of disaster a lot more frequently than in any previous Skirmish event. I even lost a few while watching TV and not paying as close attention — which, in the past, was never an issue, since I'd only lose battles if I was really late on activating battle stations. So I think they've perhaps kicked things up a notch.

Yep, it may just be increased difficulty having to do with timing rather than bounceback from Garth. I just noticed the same damage when I used Rura Penths Commandante instead of Garth. I would not mind more difficulty or rpg in enemy attacks. Makes it more interesting.
I use Mountaineer Spock and the 4-second La Forge for quick attack and accuracy boost and then both Rura Pente Commandant and Garth on the Frengi ship. This setup has been far more successful (or quicker) than any previous skirmish.
Bylo, I have been damaged once or twice. What ship are you using?
I'm using the Krayton.
Here's the trick for defeating the final ship for you fellow Krayton players: you either need to go for the 4 second nuke, or you need to wait until after 11 seconds. The Warbird at 6 seconds activates a damage reflection ability that lasts for 5 seconds, so if you unload between 6 and 11 seconds, 40% of it is coming back at you.
Yeah. The final Battle is definitely different. The only thing I do that first eleven seconds is the 15% Repair, if needed. Once the kickback Damage ends, I just go right to left on buttons.
Confirmed, I've been nuking myself on that ship's 40% damage reflection ability! Thanks for the heads up @/SSR/ Tichy !
I have had to watch my health on the last ship because of that ship's skill. There are times where I'm left with 10% hull after having blowedup that warbird.
I'm not displeased. Rank 574. So, got Uhura. The 3* & 4* are both Immortalized, so more Honour. Over 80,000 now. 5/5 Free Single Pulls were 3* for Honour.

Yes. Garth is FE at 💯, with 2*. Used the free citation we got in the apology pack for the Event that had a problem. So, saved that Honour I usually use in a Mega on the Recurring......

The honor I have accumulating just in case is making me twitchy. I'm a "buy a citation the second I hit 50k" player. I really would love to be a fly on the wall to know if that sale is happening. Would make me less stressed.
Congrats on the finish!

Agreed - I cracked 50k early this morning and don’t know if I want to put a fifth star on Gladiator Spock or hold out for a discounted sale. I guess we’ll see how many SEC/SCI seats there are in the upcoming event.
Christine Chapel's stats are incorrect in the announcement. For anyone keeping track at home, her immo stats are DIP 349 (103-201), SCI 559 (70-170), MED 790 (127-280).

That is just bad especially when most of us only got her to 3/4 and have worst stats.
