We’ve been waiting for quite some time for a Shelby card and the artwork is fantastic so thanks DB on that front, but TWO SKILLS!! Really?! And two really boring skills at that; you could have at least thrown in some Eng, Dip, or Sci as a tertiary to make her more exciting. Now she’s basically as bland as most Worfs. Seriously, all the Worf cards, purples at least, run together in my head because they’re all just Com and Sec.

I really hope we’re getting another Shelby card later on, like a gold one; possibly more serious expression and better skill set too.

They could have thrown SCI in there. If she was an expert on the Borg then she had to do some scientific studies on them

  • What's the big deal with making a highly requested character a SR? This gives more players the opportunity to get a copy.

It's also relatively rare when a highly requested card is also a very good card. DB seems to let popularity drive collectors rather than stats more often than not.

I agree. I think it’s a good thing that a highly desirable fan favorite is easier to obtain.

On the one hand, to be a 4* whose only real game value for me is going to be letting me send Augment Riker right back into the freezer, it doesn't make any real difference what her skills and stats are.

On the other hand, Shelby should definitely have ENG, given all the work she did figuring out technological countermeasures to use against the Borg.

On the other other hand, I'm still depleted on Flux Couplers so I guess I don't mind not having to come up with a ton of those all at once.

Shelby is two-skilled? Are you kidding me?! :/

It's funny how she has higher CMD than SEC.... Sort of like 1 star Will Riker, who is from the beginning of his assignment on the Enterprise, who Shelby reminded Picard of.
  • Shelby with DIP would just be funny, but given her expertise preparing defenses against the Borg, including new designs, some ENG wouldn't have been unreasonable.

I just rewatched that episode. Very good observation.

Here's hoping this odd choice of skills will translate into another version of her that does her justice!

Well, we get an explanation for why there is an Augment Riker, apparently.

Also, watch that Reliant. It has the Damage Reflector. Don't use Sledgehammers while it is active.

    Just an FYI:

Shelby uses her Uniform at Level 80. Not sure if we will have to build one for the last Level Up.

EDIT: Since context apparently was unclear. Shelby needs the Legendary Uniform from the Event Threshold in two places.

When is the last time you leveled up a crew that did not have uniform/clothing in the first slot at each 10 levels?

I think he was pointing out that Shelby is one of the odd 4* crew that has a 5* clothing item @ 80 & 90. Hence we have to build at least one of them, whereas most new 4* crew introduced during events don't require such a build, since a copy of their 5* clothing/outfit/armor/etc... is typically a threshold reward.

It's been a while since I had a 4 🌟 from the Threshold that used the Legendary Uniform from the Threshold in two places...........

So, she does use two. We'll need to build that second one, then.

Hitting the Threshold put me at 551st in the Ranking. For those who track that. About 1355 Eastern today.

Using my Skirmish Farming System, T'Kuvma was my 200th Immortalized. Used 650 of the Dilithium on a second Event Pack trying for the last 🌟 on Shelby, to Immortalize her. Had a 3 🌟 pop in the first Slot. I was like "YAY! A Behold!" Got the first time ever for me two Event Crew in the last two Slots. Straight Drop. Both Augment Riker. Who was Immortalized before the Event. Two Packs, three Rikers.

Well, I enjoyed running amok with the U.S.S. Reliant all weekend. I never get a chance to use her, and this was a good excuse to do so. All that hull bonus made it easy when I was skirmishing distracted.

Using my "Skirmish System", of running Space battles that drop stuff Crew need, I did the following so far this Skirmiah:

    Shelby 3*/100/FE
    Locutus of Borg 1*/100/FE
    T'Kuvma Immortalized
    Etana Jol Immortalized
5* Seven in Purple, with the BAPR 1*/100/FE

  • This Skirmish actually went pretty bad for me. While I got 2x3* portals, I don't think I got any 300x Chron rewards, and chrons in general seemed to be down.

I finished 1600; I normally finish in well into Top-1000, doing exactly the same process. Missed an extra star on the Professor I got from a portal the week before.

Do you know what your final VP was? I aimed for 800K, but had a bit more time in the morning and figured I would go for more honor, so I hit almost 900K for a finish in the 800s.

Finished at 1840. I wanted a first star for The Professor but life repeatedly butted in.

I was 1602, IIRC. Data plan ran out Saturday night, and messed up my run. I was in the 400s at one point, and stayed in top 700 before the data issue.........

If it helps, I was around 625-650k.
