  • I need two stars left of Salamandway, have three Mutated Paris', and two Cap'n Janeways in the roster waiting for more, so this is a great start to the Mega!

Are Susperia's stats out already? I wonder if she's worth using a citation on right away. Otherwise, I could immortalize Tactical Officer Neelix.

I know the feeling - I have enough honor to put the final star on Indulgent Seven right now but I have to wait until Wednesday to know if Suspiria will be a better choice. If she ends up as MED/SCI/SEC or ENG/MED/SEC, it would be a no-brainer.

There is something to be said for the utility of having an extra star at various points in the month - 2/5* versus 1/5* for the Faction event is nothing at all unless you’re new enough to have little to no bonus crew, it’ll mean virtually nothing for the full or hybrid Skirmish events, 4/5* is a little better than 3/5* for the full Galaxy, and there will be only a hybrid Galaxy to take advantage of the bump of 5/5* versus 4/5* at the end of the mega. If the event order were reversed it would be a very different story.
  • I bet Activated Dahj's artwork will be awesome!

That's a good point I hadn't considered. The order of the events matters. Immortalized Neelix it is then. 😁

    Wrong thread!!!!!

How so? I was asking a question about the mega event recurring character. How does that not belong in this thread?

His post is flagged as edited. It may be that he's the one who posted to the wrong thread and edited it to ensure it was removed. Likely the current event thread.

This. I posted my issue with the Rerun and what it does to my OCD.

Sorry for the confusion on what I was talking about, JLP!!!!!

Dirk and Lorca already touched on this with respect to citing Susperia, but another interesting consequence of the event order/style for this mega is that week 1 is the only one that will require any significant defrosting and slot management. After week 1, everyone can be sent back to the vault. Susperia can handle the skirmish seat and the event crew in each weekly event will handle the rest.

Not only that ... but the 4* Caregivers/Warp Theorists are decidedly weak in general.
    - Mintakan Troi is excellent ... Lady Beverly is basically a lesser copy of her.
    - Kurak is decent if you have few 5* options, but there's SCI aplenty under the 5* contingent.
    - Mother Horta is the only one who provides a sliver of SEC (I doubt many own a 4/4 Trevis), but (see below) ...
    - Bridge Officer Troi ... if you are desperate for CMD.
The rest is just not good enough, even if there would be multiple faction elements.

Thankfully, we have Kes (Tierran Possessed) and Janeway to fill up some gaps ... but you'd only defrost them for the first week anyway.

Activated Dahj should have the newest highest Sec Skill. Maybe be a One-Skill Beast, like McCoy. Would she even have a second Skill strictly based on that scene?

    SEC, with SCI and CMD

Maquis Tuvok, Klingon Janeway, ??. Plus Away Team Saru with primary/secondary switched. Glad I saved my boosters. 🖖

EDIT1: I know, Wednesday for the actual order of skills. Just glad we are getting a card with a tertiary.
EDIT2: How could I forget Gary Seven? :facepalms:

Figure on a kickstart of 37 (24+11+2) shuttles to VP=2557, 4 more at VP=3500 each using 3* time boosters, then 30 flights of 4 at VP=4000 each. Then add at least 100k? to account for rentals &/or boosters (>=3* &/or 2X).

Depends on the skillset order, main/guest cast, traits, most wanted, etc., etc. 🖖

EDIT: I forget which player/fleet used to maintain such a list, but one did exist upon a time.

600K in most cases. If it is tight, you'll need 650.

For a non mega faction event, the top 1500 average comes out to about 506k vp
For mega faction events, that average increases to 608k vp

For the last 10 faction events combined, average is about 546k

Thank you, @SSR Barkley . My guess is that the bonus pool being smaller than last mega event will bring this down a little. Dahj's stats will determine whether it goes up or down from there.

And anyone who missed her Mega, can buy Determined Janeway today. If they are Janeway short.
