Why is this one so competitive? I'm running thru so many reducers on this one and extra shuttle tokens. I've also failed higher than normal 90%+ shuttles.
It is the only faction event for the mega and Dahj’s stats are great.

... because of Captain janeway, which is important to everybody that either have or want to have Evolved janeway

It's all about the Janeways!
I'm about to cross 350k, and I'm hoping things loosen up a bit once I do. Granted, I'm expecting the opposite.

That, plus what @Legate Damar said above. Some of us are tired of hoarding resources & want to play. It would be nice if there’s an event in July that’s more exciting, though. 🖖

No reason to save resources, no factions any time soon.
This.
I've not put much effort in the last few factions, so I had close to 300 shuttle tokens and masses of boosts as I've not used many for ages.
Add in a bit of insomnia, and deciding to move to a 4 day week, I've actually put a pile of effort in this one and hoping to get my first top 50 finish, and should get my final star on Evolved Janeway and a Dahj to boot.
I even managed to have 24 missions on the go at once, which I doubt I'll ever repeat.

She better be great, her recipe build is one of the most expensive ever! lots of 4* equipment to build...4* Outfits. Over and over. Frustrating, but my 9 daily replicator rations handled it well.
Bajoran! But we need 20 4* clothing patterns (Maquis) to equip Dahj. Who put Bajoran over the top? ... I’ll just keep ad-warping Rings of Time, I guess.
I have 3445 of those. I don’t think I need any more right now.
I confused some things. Power cells are the useful item, not relays. And since the Bajoran missions drop relays, I see nothing useful. I ran primarily Maquis missions, so I certainly wasn't trying to make this happen.

As this week is a skirmish event people can wait and lvl Dahj up during the event using ship battles and getting fuel.

Other than the quick start, I ran all Maquis shuttles all weekend. Refresh my memory, do Bajoran shuttles have anything worthwhile?
The only items on my inventory list are:
- 3*** relays
- 3*** subprocessors
- 4**** incense
Certainly nothing to get excited about, as they are all readily available via normal missions with decent drop-rates and some good secondary item drops.
If you are a newer player, I suppose some of the faction items could be of interest (ie: Bajoran phaser, spring wine, Bajoran earrings, etc..).
I was surprised too to see the Bajorans win. Spring Wine is nice but it does not justify their victory. Pity!

Thank you, ended up 27th, had I pushed myself a little more I could've done top 25 I guess, but I'll save that for when I next put some major effort in which'll be a few months down the line!

I barely made 25th. It was pretty tight. It cost me dilithium at the end. It gets pretty competitive for 15th, 25th, and I would imagine also 5th place. If you're cutting it close to one of those, then it requires dilithium. Just a word of warning for those who weren't sure.

Got rank 42 with help from the shared crew and a lot of three hour alarms. At least we don't have any more faction events for a little bit. Skirmish will be most intriguing.

I can confirm that Bajoran phasers are a real pain for equipping Odo and Kira variants early on. Especially before the replicator was a thing.

Constable Odo was my first immortal 3*. Whoever designed him early in the game was a sadist. Sooooo many bajoran phasers.

When I think of how many it took to equip the various Odos, I imagine a closet in his office full of phasers he’s confiscated from smugglers, assassins, and other troublemakers that have been caught in the act. It’s more reasonable than him carrying them all on his person.

I realized this earlier and started burning them. Apparently so did everyone else.
Haha, good try. That will do it.

The only thing that strikes me as useful is 1* Relays.
