At least Dahj is a beast.

    #7 SEC base
    #14 SEC combined

I haven't done the math on SEC/SCI, but it doesn't look that impressive. Am I missing something that makes her a beast?

I was looking forward to Dahj and wanted to compete for top 1500 but that artwork is just weird.

That scene doesn't happen in the episode.

Artwork is excellent imho, verny detailed and natural looking face/skin.

Well idk, what I actually dislike are those "glasses", I mean she had that device for few moments on her head but she doesn't look like a Dahj I remember.

On the other side I really wasn't looking forward to grinding the faction event so maybe I am just looking for a reason to hit threshold and out.

    By my calculation: #16 Overall Voyager, #2 SEC/SCI Voyager, #1 SEC/SCI Shuttle, #8 SEC Base, #1 SEC/SCI/CMD voyage combo.

She should be a solid addition for most captains, with a decent amount of event potential if they go the "all crew from Picard" approach.
  • Well the recurring card is extremely disappointing and in a Voyager mega event they’re finding a way to shoehorn awful Picard characters in. Looks like I’m in for a relaxed month

Good to know. My only concern is with the past 2 megas having random traits, I wonder if we're done with "all PIC/DIS" as mega crew. If you remove future mega event potential, her usefulness drops significantly even with those voyage stats.

It's a shame that things like this can't be last minute switched, because I'm fairly certain there isn't a soul here that thinks Suspiria's traits fit.... Oh well. I, like others, will just save the citation
  • Of course I saved honor on my vip0 account to cite the mega. Well it will go to Laborer Kirk who is at least a strapping young lad with deent stats and possibly some event usefulness.

This will be the 1st time ever I don't cite a mega asap. Underwhelming campaign, underwhelming mega...

Yes, Suspiria hasn t a decent voyages stats, but Top 10 CMD base skill is still not horrible at all. 🤗

I may do my ranking slightly different but in terms of combined score specifically for SEC/SCI she is still behind Species 8472 and Gary Seven but is an upgrade to Gladiator Spock which is disheartening for me personally. But its only 100 points difference. SEC SCI is still a rare skill set she might be worth chasing.

Will you be citing her up?

Suspiria is 3394 voyage score. That is good. She is not game changing but has decent traits with desperate, brutal, cultural figure, and telepath.

I tend not to look at combined score outside of Voyages as the only other place it's of any use is for away team missions/expeditions, and I'm long passed those missions/Ben made their position quite clear on expeditions. Base and overall Voyage score is more useful for my style of play.

To your point, strong SEC/SCI crew are still pretty uncommon, so she's definitely worth chasing IMO.
  • Dahj's trait list has Botanist, but not Cyberneticist. I don't get it, is this just a typo, or a mistake like on Jurati?

Now I am certain that they don't watch episodes at least not carefully.

She was named after a flower, most of that episode happens in a vineyard and that's probably why she is a Botanist.

The pile of Janeways is probably enough to make this a competitive event, and given how few SEC/SCI voyagers are out there. My faction resources are at pretty good levels, but I'm still debating whether I want to shoot for Dahj. Love the art, stats, and traits, but I suspect I'll need to spend more than I want to get her.

  • if you saved up some Mutie Paris.. this is your dream event. You can buy packs and get tonnes of Coffee Janeways to fuse. I'm workin on my 4th Evolved Janeway. Could always use more.

I enjoyed the last Mega, but it had three legendary crew I liked (Nhan, Saru, Hugh) and I appreciated most of the PIC crew being available to everyone as threshold SRs. Questions of mechanics tend to fade into the background when you're getting crew you want.

This being said, I barely remember what the story of that Mega was, and it took some thinking to remember the shared trait. Whereas the Q Mega had a very strong theme, I remember the traits, and even the story beats. (Plus the fact I missed out on Amanda Rogers because I was camping for most of that event. Curses!)

Would prefer to look on the bright side of this event. We can finally stock up on Captain Janeway's!
Maybe if we're lucky, Mutated Paris is featured later in this mega or they do a rerun/flashback of "Research Partners", and I can finally complete Evolved Janeway!

Indeed. I actually used the remnants of my dil for event packs which I never get. I got one of the new 4* and one Janeway, and got a bonus Borg Queen from a surprise begold. With the new Janeway and 3 citations, my Lizard Janeway is 4/5. I have a spare Paris, too, so Monday I'll have an immortalized Lizard Momma.

Can you imagine how many wrap up packs would be sold if both Captain Janeway and mutated Paris were in it.

    All of them!!!!!

I'm just surprised we're getting a character played by a child. I've often seen it said here that they weren't allowed to/wouldn't do that.

It's the second badly-designed mega in a row. Last time all both of the new Cyberneticists were introduced in later events and their bonuses had zero impact. This time it's even worse - there's no build-up of crew, no escalation through the month as we accrue a stronger roster to send out in week 3/4. There's just wider bonuses in week one and a 4/5 crew handed out over four weeks, plus the 390 packs (assuming they're still going to be a thing). With the 4/5 being this extremely dull Suspiria, it's the least mega mega yet.

TP have done some good things in the game, but everything so far has been one step forward, 1.2 steps back. New birthday packs were nice - and then they changed to that terrible Odo pack. Two new Collection expansions are appreciated - but coincided with two of those indefensible Collection packs. Loved the new 490 weekend packs last week (I'd suggested that just a couple months back!) - but who knows if they're a new regular thing, or even just a mistake? New Arena speedups are nice (we'll see how they affect Skirmishes), but the ship selection improvements... only apply for arena, where they get used twice monthly for Skirmishes, instead of Voyages, where they'd get used perhaps twice daily?

And, of course, two bad campaign legendaries in a row.

After the two 1500 birthday packs, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and picked up a monthly card (after years of maintaining it continuously, I'd stopped about a month before because of their ridiculous "collection packs"), thinking that I'd probably at least want that dil for the next 390 packs. Then they did that terrible Odo birthday pack, and now they're intent on destroying the mega. I feel stupid... for giving them $4. It's $4. It's such a tiny amount of money - they could take $50 from me every week without me blinking; they could take $200 from me every week if they offer enough value - but we're in a position now where I don't feel they're earning $4. And for the first time, I'm not eagerly anticipating the new one-year-late Gauntlet crew, because there's now a strong possibility that it's going to be another disappointment.

Some of my fleet have left - which happens now and then, but we lost five over the last two months, and haven't replaced them easily as we had done at any point in the three years before. I'm still here, at least, offering feedback on the forums to make it clear why TP are failing to manage one of my favorite games well. But I'm beginning to wonder what the point is? Feedback was left on the screw-ups of the last mega, but this one is even worse.

Be careful about feedback on here. The big blue writing will appear.
