I think Quark will be event crew but we will not get an extra copy of him unless we buy packs.
I really hope he won't be in the recap packs. I won't pull any of them if I have one of the legendaries FF.
But... you won't pull ANY recap packs if you have even one of the 5* crew FF? Even though your odds of getting Quark are much much smaller than they are of getting the 4* crew that you could then FF? I find this logic difficult. I don't think you will stick to that. Your chances of getting Tribble Spock are much higher than Quark and he is already FF.
P.s. totally unrelated, I want "Excuse me, God" Kirk in the game.

I only pull those packs in the hopes of adding stars to the legendaries I have or getting one that I was too lazy to compete for (or saving a cite on the recurrent one). I usually get one or two legendaries out of them. If there is even a slim chance that that one legendary will be a dupe, then I see no reason to pull them.
The possibility of immortalizing one of the 2 or 3 super-rares that still need a star is not enough of a reason for me to spend dilithium, since I don't really need them and I'm not usually that tight on crew slots.
I'm sure other players would still open recap packs, even if they had one of the legendaries immortal, but for me personally the potential disappointment of wasting a significant amount of dilithium on a legendary dupe is a no go.

Just had an “Aha!” moment!!! For so long we’ve been complaining that not enough mega crew match the bonus traits, that the reoccurring 5* doesn’t even have the trait themselves, that the trait seemed like it belonged to another mega….and finally we have some satisfaction with the tribble mega! Thank you TP/WRG!!! This makes me very happy

Well, yes
That's what I normally do as well. I was going to break that rule this time, but I'm kind of losing motivation. These legendaries just got progressively worse. If Quark is in the recaps, as someone mentioned could be possible, then idk... that'll probably set me off completely. I don't often threaten to close my wallet, but that would probably do it for a month or more. He had a mega event for 4 stars. He had recaps for a chance at the 5th, for those who didn't cite him during the mega. If he gets an event soon that'll be another chance in packs. Putting him in recap packs would be about the biggest deterrent I could imagine. I'm hoping WRG sees that and doesn't even consider it.
Looks like a FF/FE RSK Spock is almost just as good as a FF/FE Tribble Spock for this event. And I have been told the card has no event value (not that useful if you have the rest of the event crew, but it's something)

Looks like a FF/FE RSK Spock is almost just as good as a FF/FE Tribble Spock for this event. And I have been told the card has no event value (not that useful if you have the rest of the event crew, but it's something)
The winking emoji does not excuse your strawman argument. This is what Travis said about using RSK in galaxy events “ In a Galaxy Event, they'd at best get some sporadic use on recipes. Those events are decided by chronitons and patience. Being a 5*, they've only qualified for Bonus Crew, not the full bonus of the Featured Crew. There are plenty 4* Kirks and Spocks who would best them. ”
Super rare Tribble Spock is an easily obtained 4/4 providing much higher bonus than the 5/5 RSK and 1701 Jadzia Dax has been in numerous events and is also providing higher bonus than RSK.
Tribble Kirk is also easily obtained and a better option at 2/5 in almost all recipes than 5/5 RSK.
I realize that my crew is older and deeper than many others. Nevertheless, I assume that most people with the resources to get the Reunion Kirk and Spock card already have similar deep crew. For me, I have not used Reunion Kirk and Spock at all this event. Waddle got some use last half and Happy Hands Ezri gets some use this half. I find Tribble Kirk, Tribble Uhura, Tribble Spock, and 1701 Jadzia are quite effective.

None of what you said refutes my statement. FF/FE RSK Spock is almost as good as FF/FE Tribble Spock in this event (so you can use those bonuses from the start of the event, something you can not do with Tribble Spock, since you have to level and fuse him well into the event).
This is part of the quote you choose to ignore "To elaborate, any competitive value of Reunion Spock and Kirk is negligible" (the whole point of the argument was if other players having the card affects you, in the competitive aspect of the game, and I think it's quite clear)
Another misseing quote from that post, used to dismiss the importance of RSK Spock: "after doing a cursory review of Starfleet Communications and the Wiki, I didn't see a single event since Reunion Spock and Kirk were introduced that Featured either Kirk or Spock, nor any events in which crew with any of Reunion Spock and Kirk's traits were Bonus", Now, not only we had an event featuring a trait of RSK Spock right before that post, but one featuring Spock right after. Time has not been kind with that post

Co-signed! I un-ironically adore that movie. I want a Kirk, Spock, and McCoy from that sequence. Kirk's ship ability would be "What Does God Need With A Starship?" McCoy's would be "You Don't Ask The Almighty For His I.D.!" and Spock's would be "You've Not Answered His Question". And in a perfect world, whatever their abilities were, they'd complement one another and make a brilliant trio to put on a ship.
(A boy can dream, right?)
Anyway, I wish the rest of y'all'd cash in your super rares already. Gettin' on my nerves staring at my #133 rank I know isn't real.

The only other one I've used has been Gladiator Spock. In most SEC recipes, I've gone with Niners Ezri but there have been a few recipes where he's had the advantage of trait bonuses.

There is Mountaineer Spock.
Oh, I know! I have him. It's just that I've long felt that that sequence is a perfect distillation of the relationship between the Big Three, and it'd be gratifying to see it represented in STT with scene-specific variants. (Spoiler'd to minimize clutter in this event thread.)
Also, upon consideration, I've changed my mind about McCoy. As notable as his moment of objecting to asking the Almighty for His I.D. is, this moment better speaks to the unity with Kirk and Spock. Ship ability, "I Question Any God Who Inflicts Pain For His Own Pleasure":
Kirk: Attack; Spock: Accuracy; McCoy: Evasion
Back to the event, though, I forgot how much I despise this last minute cash-in tactic so many of y'all employ. C'mon...
