The guantlet feature seems fantastic. Haven't used it. Don't like cadets because I buy tickets and it added steps that can be missed. Voyage counter suffers the same problem in that it freezes and you have to still go into it to see the actual time. Don't like that the Galaxy map still has "14" until you cycle through them all.
Just completed dailies (that's all I'm doing today)
And I just want to stress again how terrible the new changes are to the daily rewards/campaign/cadet ect menu.
Its really a huge step backwards. I used to be able to click between these easily on the left of the screen, now I need to exit and then reenter the drop menu to select where I want to go. So much more work, for no reason. It's annoying. And honestly, as someone who is only doing dailies right now, it makes me want to stop all together.

It does seem like they're purposefully winding it down. Alot of players I know are just phoning it in now. I haven't used any chronitons on space battles in this event yet I'm still in the 4000's.

Yeah I am not sure what the plan is. I know that a lot of my frustration comes with being an endgame player, as there is little left for me. I just wanted to make an extra point of saying how poor the new UI is for completing and collecting dailies.
I have deleted the app and will be taking a break from the game now. I shouldn't be this frustrated. Lol.
I know it was mentioned here before already, but why, just why?
iOS iPad. There was and is enough space for 5 items,
been this way before. Why change it?
I have 685 unique immortalized, but mine shows 692 immortal (count difference of 7). I have 51 immortal dups, so that's not it. The closest thing I can come up with is that I have 6 not-yet-immortal dups. Dunno.
I'll add my support to the prior commentary that, while the voyage button on the main screen is nice, I am strongly missing the antimatter-remaining bar.

Because the inventory/replicator screen wasn't screwed up enough or hard enough to navigate, yet. Remember the inventory management overhaul we were told about two years or so ago? This must be what they were referring to.
Sudden Bride of Chaotica level was a nice surprise. Finished the new guy last night for the Daily Chores stuff for a Crew member.
Them feeling they had to abruptly change the name of a piece of Equipment for Rom just highlighted the fact that they let a complaint from one player lead to a Trait removal, though.
So, a balanced day I guess in-game.

I could live with cadets in the left screen menu if the buttons were not so tiny. Even on my tablet it is hard to click the right one. Why make pop up menu buttons so small? Players are clicking on it to use it.
This makes me crazy, too, Apollo. I'm a woman with big hands and this is getting aggravating. They make them smaller and cram more in the menu. It didn't help that opening certain things, like Vault and Retrieval, on my Kindle 8 will freeze the game and force a restart.

I'm getting used to it. The new placement of cadets still bothers me, but mainly because I don't like it when there's a lack of consistency. I think they should be in the same place as the arena.
But everything else isn't that bad. If it's necessary for objective events, then I'm fine with it.
The timer for the gauntlet is great, as is the dailies display for fleets. Knowing how many replicator uses are left and seeing if an item is available in a faction store would have made me very happy when I was in the earlier phases of playing Timelines.
Let's be clear, "getting used to it" doesn't mean "it's growing on me and I actually kind of like it." I am sure I'll "get used to it," but I will never grow to like it. "Getting used to it" is a phrase of surrender. Not of acceptance.

I never felt strongly about it though. There were things in the old interface that bothered me and that have been partially solved by this one and there are things in the new one that bother me. I can understand that the extra taps and the small buttons are very annoying to other players, but to me they're at the same level as not being able to see the number of replications left or having to re-enter cadets after every mission. The only thing that really bothered me were cadets being moved to the dailies section, but that's the thing that I'm getting used to. And there are a couple of changes that I really like.
I was made Admiral by our previous Admiral without warning, explanation, or even being asked. I'm still figuring out what I'm doing. Tools are nice, I guess.

the flashing dabo wheel is horrible. no thanks, Quark. credits are the most valuable currency in the game now and I'm not throwing 5000 away to (presumably) make you ad disappear.

What can I do with my 100 million credits? Unless I can trade them for dil or merits, then... 🤔
hey i have 167 million but i hold onto them like scrooge before christmas morning. I lose a million every crew retrieval. should last a good 9 years but still!

You remind me of the Apollo episode

This has been since I started one year ago.
Not quite sure what’s going on here… Other than the rocket ship looking a bit like a humpback whale

This is definately the best feature of the new update.

Well maybe someone didn't quite study optimal size for buttons.
https://uxmovement.com/mobile/optimal-size-and-spacing-for-mobile-buttons/
I know it is not always easy to do, as you don't want to cover the game itself, but yeah some buttons could be bigger.

And it was added just as I hit a super-busy period at work and I'm doing crap on my dailies!
Thankfully I'm in a laid-back fleet.
