I've been binging DS9 & recently watched that episode
Odo was put on trial for killing another Founder - th first time for that to happen
Found guilty, his punishment was to remain a solid
"Perhaps we should have killed him, it would have been far less cruel"
As for making him human, Bashir said he had heart lungs, & a digestive sytem. It's as if he were..human"
I imagine Bajorans have all those too
The Founders I strongly imagine kept him the way he was as a reminder of where he came from & can never change that(at that time) as more punishment

Been a couple of decades since I saw that one.....
Thinking about it, the best chance the dominion had for a detailed scan of alpha quadrant species was in The Search (S3, E1&2), when they had the crew in that not-holodeck. But Kira wasn't there, just humans, a Trill and a Romulan. So that might explain why they chose human anatomy, they had more comprehensive data to work with.
It's a better explanation than lazy writing, anyway.

There are plenty of anatomical differences between humanoid species, "humanoid" refers to their basic body shape (bipedal, pentadactyl limbs, 2 arms, one head etc). Klingons are humanoid, but have multiple additional internal organs (and at least one external). We know that bajorans and humans have some differences, just based on Kira's issues when carrying the O'Briens' baby (though those specific differences obviously wouldn't apply to a male body).
The point is, even with a cursory scan Bashir would be able to tell the difference between human and Bajoran anatomy. He has plenty of experience dealing with both, and he specifically said human.

A 30 second scan on a tricorder is more than enough to determine something basic like what species the subject is. It's probably enough for an autopsy to be honest.
I just realized that Away Team Detmer is not listed under the EV suit collection. Is there a justification for that that I maybe don't realize?
She's new and hasn't been added yet. Collections that aren't linked to a trait have to have crew added manually, which is apparently a massive imposition on the dev team.

Lady Audrey Chapel is missing the costumed trait. This in contrast to all other crew from the Elysian kingdom story arc (adult Rukiya isn’t costumed either but she is not part of the story, so that’s correct).

In an unrelated, but sorta similar, issue, could we improve the low res image for Off-duty Oretgas? It’s been bothering me since I got the card, which was months ago. The other cards are starting to look upset over the situation…

(I am going on understanding that any Discovery crew who leaped to 32nd century should all have displaced.)
It’s very frustrating to have just gone through this trait audit process and a number of the new cards released right after are missing traits or have incorrect ones. Couple cases in point:
Enterprise Tilly has Displaced even though the flavor text says she never left her time period. And she isn’t a part of the Discovery Collection, so missing the DSC hidden trait.
Changeling Kira doesn’t have the Dominion trait, even though she’s a Changeling.
Bridge Picard, as mentioned above, is missing Android.
Warship Torres is missing Hologram, as all the Warship Voyager cards were Holograms (but NOT Warship Yar, as she was not part of that episode).

Beyond a monthly trait audit, can you look into the QA process for releasing new crew? It's better to add new crew with the correct traits rather than getting them wrong and then needing to constantly go back and fix them.

So basically the idea is that TPG will release a lot of cards with bad traits? This doesn’t sound promising. You’d be better off having players vote/comment on traits on the Discord in advance.
Do canon novels count? If so, Aleek-Om could be given the Temporal Agent trait.
He was one of the founding members of the agency according to the Star Trek: Department of Temporal Investigations series, and still works in the department a century later.

Bumping this, as now that the EV Suit collection has expanded, this issue is more urgent. She clearly belongs in the EV Suit collection.
