With events like this which rely on shuttle missions, there is really no adequate compensation. The event requires time and that is something that can not be replaced.
We can only hope that all have the same problem and not a few lucky ones get a head start...
Whomp. At least I was able to assign my Mirror Jean-Luc Picard to be shared with my squadron before I got shut out, so if/when any of the others are able to get in, that'll be there waiting for them.
Can't ask for much more than "We are on it!" No body wants this - us or DB - but given the circumstances, it's hard to ask for much more. I don't want them wasting time replying to each and every person or thread. Get it fixed. Sounds like that's what they're doing.
The game cannot be accesses in any way (droid, steam, etc)
At event time, it took around 3 minutes to do anything (like put an item on a crew member or use a training).
So it's not just me, then. That's both reassuring and troubling.
I *WAS* in the game, then as soon as the event started, buffering buffering buffering buffering. Closed the game, reopened it only to be greeted with
'Server Error
An error occured on the remote server. Pleaes try again later, and contact player support if the issue persists'.
Could someone from DB please give us an update on when we can expect the game to be working again?
They've replied in other threads with a simple. "We are on it!"
Can't ask for much more than that, honestly. No body wants this - us or DB - but given the circumstances, it's hard to ask for much more. I don't want them wasting time replying to each and every person or thread. Get it fixed. Sounds like that's what they're doing.

Well, my guess is the forum admins do not stuck their heads into the servers themselves...
...this should lead to a serious case of sorrytons
We're all in the same boat. I'd settle for some chrons, shuttle mission tokens, and merits so we can buy a few of our own. ... Frankly I'd not mind pushing to delay this event's launch to 1pm if no one's really gotten anywhere. But I'm not sure how messy that would be to refund/restart as I'm sure a few folks got some stuff through.
Cant get in either.... "An error occurred during sign in. Please try again later.".... this is the most irritating seeing as its a faction event... duration actually matters...

Shan - thanks, what do I do about the fact that my voyage has now failed because of being unable to access the game?
Korrin
That would be better but I’d settle for another Worf to scream “I am not a merry man!” at me.

Got about 7-8 opened before the server crapped itself.
(seriously though, I plan my lunch at work around this event so I can do the jump start...this is really annoying)

We all HOPE that is funny. 😁

Just let them work on it. The last thing the technical team needs is some manager pestering them asking for status updates.
I second this. I only have an hour lunch lol.
I heard it as soon as I said it. Back to cave!
I do not have an update at this time.
