Props where props are due! I actually love the artwork for all three! Well Done DB!
Have to strongly disagree. I find the artwork for all three wholly uninspiring (and uninspired).
The faces are too soft, the detail far too lacking, and I don't think they look much like the actors, either. Even compared to Mirror Picard (who is still way more low-detail than he should be/could be), you can see a big difference. Troi looks like someone took a blur brush and just went over her whole face several times. And I don't know who that Geordi is supposed to look like, but it sure isn't LeVar Burton.
I mean, it's not the utter epic fail that Mirror Data was, in that they actually got facial (and I assume, bodily) proportions correct this time, so after I look at stats I may do an event pack or two, but I've decided I won't be going all-in on this one — which would have entailed buying more chronitons, buying more shuttle boosts, probably buying a Troi-specific offer — and which I would have done had the artwork been good.
Could you please continue the petty bickering? I find it most intriguing. ~ Data, ST:TNG "Haven"

Someone's looking at her face?
(Sorry, couldn't resist. )

As always, you make a bunch of really good points that I must agree with lol. Maybe I've just gotten so used to the artwork being really really awful that my eye for it has become a little skewed?

I'd wager they were trying to make her look more dark, evil and scary. She's an inquisitor, not a likable counselor Geordi is very much Wesley Snipes, and Janeway... I'd rather not go there. I guess they drew her like that because she's an undercover operative for the KCA, but she was also a chief engineer under Chakotay - I think that would have been a way better option. Why not an ENG/SEC/COM option?
Not much for Disney 3pm after school cartoon Kathy of the Caribbean..
The other two are pretty good
Haha I guess we are so used to getting bad art work that when we get something okay we jump for joy. After seeing the full images I do like the way Troi looks. But I will save the rest of my critique for the dedicated art feedback in Engineering Room.
Why can't we have a real Geordi with great gauntlet rolls?
Well, he's not half bad, and he will be popping up in the gauntlet way more often for sure, as many players will get copies of him. He's objectively worse than the legendaries, but for new players, he will be a great gauntlet option.
Shan, art looks GREAT! Tell them they really upped their game this week.
Oh, wow! Opinions definitely do differ. I was just looking for an appropriate spot to say that this week’s art illustrates one additional point of critique that we all missed on the dedicated “how to improve the art” thread.
What can I say? The Troi looks super hot, and the Geordi looks great. As someone who keeps threatening to airlock my copy of Musketeer La Forge, I'm happy to get this one. Also TROI LOOKS SO GOOD.

And Janeway is... Janeway.
I agree that Troi and La Forge look really good. I've read those comics and they look respectable to the source material. Janeway **tsk tsk**... but oh well.

I'm not sure if I would agree with that. North Star Tucker is arguably the best eng legendary and his stats are very similar. The other fake La Forge and Seven of Nine are also very good, but this newest one could be the best option if traits match.
I take all 4*'s regardless of quality but she looks like a pirate! Now I really want her.
She looks like some strung out teenager at a rave pretending to be a pirate.
Done in crayon.
I am going to listen to nothing but Alestorm for the entire duration of the event. This will give me an immense advantage in morale thus allowing me to cruise to any easy victory.
Just want my last Mirror Picard. That's all I care about from this event. Normally I'd be running extended voyages to get Chronitons for part two. Not bothering now.

As I said, he is objectively worse than the legendaries, but he's a super rare, and he costs 3k VP to get, so even the newest players who just started will be able to get someone with 530+ ENG max for the gauntlet, so I am sure that he will be appearing way more often. I do not mean that he will be a main for the top 10 gauntlet ranks, unless, as you said, it's an ENG gauntlet with good traits, but we will be seeing a lot of Mirror La Forge for a good long time to come just because of the accessibility, IMO.

If we're just talking "Characters with Engineering", then Gangster Spock should probably be in the discussion too.
In terms of 4*s, he's probably the best Engineer released for the gauntlet. The closest in terms of raw stats are...Tash and Drone Seven. Had to scroll down the list a lot farther than I thought I would have to, lol.
Methinks someone missed a zero on the 1500 Honour Point Threshold Reward? 15,000 HP sounds more appropriate and more reasonable for reaching 600,000 VP.

Forget 3k, he'll be a community reward. Craft one recipe and you get a copy of him. Every player in the game will have him if they want him.
Comments
Probably La Forge comes first as he is threshold then Janeway but no big deal either way.
That can happen. I had to crack 11 packs to get a Da Vinci
Lol good call!
I called her "Pirate Janeway" the second I saw her!!!!!!

Troi on the other hand looks magnificent.
LaForge looks more like Eddie Murphy than LeVar Burton, but is artistically done well, just don't look like the character he's supposed to be.

If you want some real metal, go for Halestorm

At best he's a washed up Wesley Snipes, but I think he looks more like a badas$-wannabe Stevie Wonder
Aarrgg me matey, I haven't a clue !

He is also one of the best 4*s for Voyages, too.
Note: She's still my favorite captain.
PM for details.
So long and thanks for all the fish.
