Okay, a week was a bit exagerated. It's prully gunna take two weeks. First room is already at Level 6 now. Other five are gunna follow. :)

I'm estimating about 6-7 weeks for my fleet, as we are clearly not going max donations and pacing ourselves a little bit. That and we are not fully stocked on holoemitters (though making some decent progress We'll hit that wall before we are done.

We always hit the 1100 each day half-way to the deadline. Two rooms are already done by now.

Do y'all slow down after getting the last chron drop or are you pressing forward full steam at that point?

  • JhamelJhamel ✭✭✭✭✭
After 1100 those who pay attention won't donate any further. We also have it in the fleet text next to the base icon that donations should be ceased after 1100 points, but there's always some who can't read. :)

  • You will hit a bottleneck at starbase room anywhere .....the holo emitters are hard to grind out cause low drop rate
  • And I dont see the complain here at all you get way more chrons out of voyages now ....even with 4 hours run usually 100+ chrons. ....
  • JhamelJhamel ✭✭✭✭✭
A shy reminder: We are Level 38 now with just 2 rooms left (ENG and SCI Level 6 to do). Only a few grape soda and burritos (tritanium) to donate, no more transpurrent aluminium required and of course after that only jukeboxes (holoemitters) which can't suffice even for 300 / 1100 purr day.

Please just give us another level until something decent can be implemented.

  • Complaining about 100 chrons now seems pretty petty these days.

Remember the before times? Chrons are so plentiful now they dont matter.

Give me credits and rep rations forever please. Id rather never farm items again lol

It's 100 chrons every day, not a one-time reward. You're in SSR, so you belong to the Top 100 in the game. I understand that you might not be concerned with a measly 100 chronitons, but we normal mortals are. It's important that we get them to level our crew in a decent amount of time.

Also: If you don't feel it's important, why even post here?

When voyages were introduced, my daily chronoton production nearly tripled. If chronotons are the limiting factor on crew you can level, then I don't know what to tell you, but you're doing something wrong. There are a lot more aggressive barriers out there (Faction Items and Credits, primarily) that are far more constricting than chrons.

Consider if you only have 1 replicator use per day. Credits are not an issue for me for that reason alone.

It's just the fact that those 100 chronitons were introduced as a new daily achievable community goal (fleet goal), but to TGE at least, it wasn't as daily as it ought to be. That's all I wanted to say.

Sure, we got voyages and our chronitons tripled or quadrupled ... but those 100 chronitons can be claimed at any time (usually saving them up to the evening is a good strategy while waiting for the normal chronitons to regenerate to almost maximum). That makes them flexible and I like that a lot.

I agree it should be fixed. I hope they create some kind of fleet wide replicator that you can throw anything into and you can build towards something like 1000 honor or something each time you complete it.

That said, there are many things I hope they work on first because I don't think the community need for 100 chrons/day is nearly as great as some of the other issues in the game.

And let us switch between room graphic and needed components

100 chrons today aren't like the same as 100 chrons a year ago. If you aren't doing dailys, or voyages then yes it is important. But dailys give you a minimum of 50 chrons, and voyages can get you 100+ with a lesser crew. 150+ a day is pretty decent I would say.

Some of this ain't about the chrons themselves, but the borked game mechanic.
If you put up a daily goal REGARDLESS if its only 5 creds, all players should be able to complete it.
  • JhamelJhamel ✭✭✭✭✭
Actually, if the 100 daily chronitons would get replaced with something adequate, I'd be happy with that as well. But as it is now, I feel that something that got introduced to us as an enhancement of the game is being taken away again.

Losing the 100 DAILY chrons is more of a disadvantage in events (Galaxy and even faction with speed leveling event cards) than having a 6% increase in stats (accounting to possibly 1-2% increase on shuttle at 4K level IF it's on an event card). Which is even less of an advantage when you compare max to say average fleet bonus (maybe a 0.5% Delta). I'd rather have the chrons!

We need a long term solution for fairness in event competitions. You should not be punished for playing.

We don't need new rooms, we just need a way to donate when all rooms are complete.

  • I think they should just get rid of this daily mission for everyone. It seems like it was poorly thought out and implemented

Why stop there, why not just get rid of starbases to?

Was wondering when someone would go the absurd baby and the bathwater comment. Going for shock when the argument has been made cohesively.
  • The Colonial Fleet Ohio took 1st in the last galaxy event and much of our fleet is looking at sitting this one out. With donations just to reach 1100 and get the daily reward we will be holo locked in 2 days. While chrons are much more plentiful than they used to be, being denied the 20000 fleet chrons during a galaxy event is the equivalent of taking away 1,000,000vp. Would be very difficult to place well against other fleets and squads with that disadvantage. We have worked very hard to get where we are. Why are we being punished for it?
  • JhamelJhamel ✭✭✭✭✭
Thanks for your post, Silverknight. It's not just 100 chronitons per day for one player ... if a fleet has got 50 players and a Galaxy event usually lasts for 4 days, it's 20'000 chronitons for the whole fleet going south!

So ... please don't complain against us complaining about this issue. If you don't need 100 extra chronitons per day, then alright ... but some of us want them and fleet and squad rankings depend on those extra chronitons. Those who got the extra 20'000 chronitons will certainly score better than those who don't have them.

I've got a question. How long are people inactive {IF EVER} before they are automatically removed from a Fleet? Our Starbase has THREE waiting to be upgraded, that are fully supplied, plus two more getting close. ALL of our leaders who can authorize the Upgrades seem to have quit.....

Sorry, but that doesn't really belong into this thread, can you open a new one with your question? This is only about the fleet chroniton blockade. Thanks. :)

This is why entitlement systems are dangerous ... give anyone a supply of something, and they get addicted and they cry havoc if it goes away.

Listen - you don't know if the 100 chrons were intended to be a permanent addition to the game. I personally think DB shot themselves in the foot by giving that reward in the first place. But here we are nonetheless.

DB said they are working on a solution. I can't tell if you how much faith to put in that, but you can't always derive a complicated situation in just 2-3 weeks. So ... stop being impatient, enjoy your 6% bonuses, and just enjoy the game. Do some voyages, get some chrons.
