We're on the last two rooms, holoemitters are always a drag but kind of pacing ourselves. Once the chronos are gone, they are gone. Personally I think they should remove the silly daily donation chronotrons and give 100 chronos for each room being leveled as a one time perk.

This is why entitlement systems are dangerous ... give anyone a supply of something, and they get addicted and they cry havoc if it goes away.

Listen - you don't know if the 100 chrons were intended to be a permanent addition to the game. I personally think DB shot themselves in the foot by giving that reward in the first place. But here we are nonetheless.

DB said they are working on a solution. I can't tell if you how much faith to put in that, but you can't always derive a complicated situation in just 2-3 weeks. So ... stop being impatient, enjoy your 6% bonuses, and just enjoy the game. Do some voyages, get some chrons.

It appears as with some longstanding bugs and other qol issues that poking DB seems to be necessary.... as they then get reprioritized down the list some of the time, or at least appear to be.

    Are they truly 1%?

3000 holoemitters away. I'll miss those little chronitons. We even tried to stop donating at 1100. Just couldn't stop the train

Are they actually 1% as in rich with lots of money in real life I have no idea. I would hope they are and not going into debt to play a game like STT. If you are finished or about to finish all of the rooms in the Starbase you are in the top 1% of fleets in the game and that is what I was meaning by it.

My fleet tends to be under 200 in rankings for events and we are only at level 30 for our Starbase. We do have a couple rooms maxed as we wanted to focus on the higher needed skills, but we still have a few weeks before we will max out the Starbase. I just think we should allow for the smaller fleets and less active one's time to do some catch-up.

I do think the system isn't the greatest and hope DB will do something to fix it without adding more and more and more bonus % to skills. As I have read above, the idea of having a dump for starbase components might be a good fix for fleets that finish quickly and hit the 1100 component mark each day. If we end up going without it for a few weeks as DB makes changes I am okay with that even if my fleet hits that wall before things are added. I spend money from time to time to keep voyages going longer but my finances have changed and I am moving to f2p till things change. I have seen a huge difference in my chrons on hand and also don't buy the Supply Kits each day. Sometimes things happen and you just learn to do without for awhile. These 50-100 chrons depending on the fleet are nice but not needed to enjoy the game.

I didn’t realize my $4 a month for a card made me rich and in the top 1%.

And just because your fleet is underachieving, doesn’t mean that everyone is. This problem is affecting a not-insignificant portion of fleets currently.

For a fleet that does that well in events that's pretty weak starbase participation.

Fleet I'm in is normally ranked like you are, sometimes cracks the top 100, has about half the fleet F2P, and no dil spent on the starbase (with the exception of one test on the speed up, never to do again as it bought us 18 minutes) and we're in the holo-wall stage with 2 1/2 rooms left.

Don't underestimate the power of eighteen whole minutes.
  • our starbase is level 39, and we've almost got the final room done, it's just down to a few holoemitters.
that was a nice interlude, but we are really hoping for those additional upgrades DB alluded to.

Thanks for Level 7 rooms ... the inevitable has been postponed once more. :)
