On a semi-related note, did anyone else just get all of the crew offers at once? The Sato one, the 35 dollar Phlox one, and the 14 dollar Paris one? That's abnormal, right?
Don't be complainin' now :P

How is it that the character who achieved warp 10 has no skill in engineering? As a pilot and leader of the mission, command seems more appropriate than diplomacy. It also seems like science would be more applicable than medicine, since he was the genetic anomaly being treated. Very weird stat choice for Mutated Paris...

I agree 100 percent. This is just ill-thought out.
Admiral of the Haus of GaghGagh, Starbase level 94, we are not accepting members at this time.
Captain of the voyage vessels: Queen of Bashir, Landsknecht, and Sunspear, the first luxury starship cruiseliners.
Amenities include wifi, fully-functioning holodecks, a full-service bar, 3 party decks, a Trill spa, and a business centre.
Fun fact: The ships are propelled by bouncy castle technology.

Oh I'm not complain'. Just curious. Also not buyin', as that Paris card is beyond useless.
I bought the oopsie 10 dollar offer, because I figured why not... Ended up with 2 Paris that will hit the freezer asap and a duplicate Phlox... very, VERY meh bundle

The episode was ill thought out. As he mutated, his mental faculties were affected as well. I would argue that Mutated Paris as he is here, would not be able to perform the engineering required to make the shuttle warp 10 capable. He was acting on instinct ... which apparently includes being able to pilot the shuttle.

As for diplomacy, I addressed that previously.
I guess it doesn't really matter if it makes logical sense or not for him to have the engineering skill - it just would have made the card more worthwhile. There's no logical explanation for Doctor LaForge having any medical skill, but it made that particular card more desirable and useful.
Quick check, i did 3 10x event pulls and only got mirror phloxes. anyone else only get mirror phlox or am i super unlucky? Already have him immortalized
Against my better judgement, I bought one 10 pack and got Phlox too. Not going to risk throwing away any more money.
Got the 9.99 pack, ended up with 3 Lizard Paris....

Did DB artists forget how to draw hands? This looks horrible. I'm sorry but if DB is going to ask for $99.99 for a couple copies of this jpeg they should make it look better.
Well she's not supposed to be a human remember? mutants everywhere!

If you remember that episode, both Linda & Scott had finger prosthetics to elongate their last 2 digits. But yes, the fingers still look awful.

It's not about how long the fingers are. It's about the placement and how the pink finger looks more like it's the index finger...i can't tell what's going on but it looks like an 8 year old drew it.
Good god whatever happened to Paris's ability to fly at warp 10 in this episode? I guess his bullsh*t persuading everyone that this was a good idea is the most impressive thing about him. This card has less than impressive stats

I was thinking something similar when I first viewed his starting stats. I mean, he should have Command, Engineering, and Medical, NOT Diplomacy and Medical. Also, why that pose? It’s awful. The art is, as one player described it, meh, but the pose he’s in just makes it worse. Not as bad as Goonies Martok but close. Oh, and why’d they even make a Threshold Paris anyway? Don’t they know a lot of Voyager fans HATE that episode with the passion of a thousand suns? And seriously, he builds an engine that goes to warp ten and becomes a diplomat, sheesh.
Weirdly enough, I’m also Vulcan Housewife. Also, RNGesus hates me, like really, REALLY hates me.

I've always hoped (perhaps naively) that DB will read our in-depth knowledge of certain characters they f'ed up the stats on and go "you know what, they're right, Paris did build that engine, he is very clearly ENG primary in this episode or CMD prime at the very least with ENG second" but...they have yet to and I don't think they ever will.

This one is a good time to change that record. Since this version of Paris should clearly be ENG primary, with SCI or COM secondary, maybe MED tertiary, but certainly not DIP or SEC of any level.
I pulled him on an event pack, wanted Phlox so I could go easy on the shuttles, now I am forced to compete and level Paris. I suppose I could still just aim for threshold, shouldn't be to difficult. I really thought he would have good stats but an uglier, worse stats than Pulaski? He's cryo fodder!
Shan, is the build for Mutated Paris correct?
He never uses a 4* uniform, which is very odd. He uses FOUR 3* uniforms in a row, at levels 40, 50, 60 & 70 but never uses his 4* uniform, except to build his 5*.

I was hoping to add a star at least, but I have problems with reaching even the top 5000 in faction events...
