Well you can certainly airlock her if you want but for those of us that did the event the first time and kept her it is great to see a second star. Also increases likelihood people will but packs. Look at it this way, if u airlock her u get 500 honor.

I mean of course at 1/5 she’s not going to be helpful to everyone and I’m sure plenty of folks will be spacing her for honor (especially long time VIP0 folks), but overall I think of it as something positive to have show up.

Some games upped the tier from legendary to ultimate and are still "alive". But yeah, unless they completely redesign many parts of the game and add gamemodes who would need that indeed zero need for a new tier here....

I generally go on voyage stats personally. It's great if shuttle stats are good too. But now most of my episodes are warpable, my gauntlet crew are useful for voyages too, and shuttles are usually covered by voyage stats, I only have a few two skilled crew in the roster. Jazz Odo, because I don't have many Odo's, Rom and Cadet Tilly because I have so few engineering crew, and T'Kuvma because he is quite useful and my command crew is surprisingly weak. That's it. Uhura is a crew space, she'll likely never be used. I ahev to make hard decisions sometimes and if that involves ditching a gold, it means ditching a gold. I'll enjoy the honor she gives me for her sacrifice.

As someone who has her 1/5 and FE, I appreciate the Fuze. She's main cast and thus helpful when she comes up in events.

I used the 8 shuttle 3 faction kickstart method @Webberoni gave out a while back and it worked great. There was another, I believe also by Webberoni modified for either fewer shuttles or fewer factions. I don't recall. Is there a spreadsheet somewhere for kickstart methods depending on faction and shuttle count?

Thanks for the kudos, but I simply adapted the strategy I had come across here on the forums, once the number of missions had been altered.
It all comes down to a couple key thresholds, regardless of how many missions are available during an event:
- initially open as many missions as possible, to maximize the number of 2pt missions you can do, to climb the ladder as fast as possible (successful missions are worth +1 and failed missions are worth -1.5, as you climb towards a total of 40 to hit 4k missions)
- once 11 missions (max at 2pt missions) have been completed, any new missions opened at that point are 350 pts @ 1.5 hours, which can be auto-completed with a 3* speed boost (ie: open as many as possible, do 11, then re-open those 11)
- once 13 missions (2 additional 2pt missions) have been completed, any new missions opened at that point are 500 pts @ 2.0 hours, which can be auto-completed with a 4* speed boost (ie: do 2 more of the original missions, then re-open those 2)
- do all re-opened missions with appropriate speed boosts, then so any remaining original 2pt missions
For today's event, with 24 missions, the kickstart method completed 37 missions (24 x 2pts, 11 x 350pts, 2 x 500pts). The first wave of regular missions went out at the 3500 point level, just 20 minutes into the event.
It's interesting how times have changed. Once I read the word "kickstart" (it may have been "jumpstart" originally) way back in late 2016, it took me several months of reading between the lines on the forums to determine what it was and how it worked. So much mystery around the methods. Random allusions from some of the top established names in the game (many of whom are still playing & posting today). This was back when my 2-shuttle crew was barely capable of reaching 1500pt missions via straight climbing up the difficulty ladder, so I couldn't imagine that 4000pt missions even existed or how one would ever succeed on them. Fast forward to today - and multiple people repeatedly post one or more variations of the kickstart method, along with explanations of how to adjust it when DB adjusts the rules. No thinking required!
I think I like the new ways better - even though my crew couldn't have handled a 4000pt mission back then, I always felt like some players were playing a different game than I was because they had this super-secret method. We are still separated by our crew depth, time commitment to the event, RNG (praise be to thee), and bankrolls - and all of that is as it should be - but at least the methodology is level for all (should one choose to use it).
Fast forward to today - and multiple people repeatedly post one or more variations of the kickstart method, along with explanations of how to adjust it when DB adjusts the rules.
Community think. During that time forum became it's own community separate from non-forumite players. So people think not only as "myself" and "my fleet", but "my acquaintances on forum" too.

Seems a lot of the power players bowed out for the chase in this one, but I'll take the achievement awards.
I think it is more realistic for reruns only, since they addded a new legend in place of the old one.
