So disappointed you guys placed the new 4* character in threshold rewards.
We will be stuck with a 3/4 forever. I never buy event packs because they are not beholds. Been burned almost every single time always getting the character I have complete and get a meesly 200 honor.
DB, you guys are not encouraging me to invest in company but just give up trying to collect.
1. For faction events, place existing characters in threshold rewards. Everyone has crew slot problems.
2. Or, replace the last 1000 merit award with a 4* version.
It should be hard but possible to get a 4/4 copy of new card.
I bought one pack and got a Sarek. It took me about a dozen pulls (and them bringing the pack back) to get the last star for Princess Jadzia. You win some, you lose some. But seriously, its not the end of the world. If you don't want to spend money, save up honor for a citation.
@Shan Since shuttle events only go to 3/4 for the threshold crew member, could we have 3/4 stats added in when the 1/5 and 1/4 stats are posted? Since that's the highest people can get the threshold crew in a pure shuttle event, it'd be helpful to know what those stats would, rather than only 4/4 and 1/4.
Please note that tagging does not work
Providing 1/x stats are already something I cannot commit to doing every week, so I will keep it in mind but it is unlikely that I will be able to provide those.

We have no way to compete and obtain a FF copy. We will be stuck with a 3/4 forever. I never buy event packs because they are not beholds. Been burned almost every single time always getting the character I have complete and get a meesly 200 honor.

Same feeling here. I may just sit this one out, I don't want to be stuck with a useless 3/4 for 9 months 'till somebody gets around to adding him to packs, and I don't want to reward DBs putting the new character as the threshold by buying an event pack.
Looks like Mudd's gonna have some heavy DIP stats, fully fused. Also, SCI? I don't, uh...I don't get that.
Love the new two-star, at least.
What else would his second stat be? He doesnt command anyone, he doesnt fight so no security, he has no medical knowledge, so science or engineering is all that is left.

Re: threshold reward
It is not a reduction or a mistake.
The reward for that threshold is supposed to be an item equippable to the threshold reward crew, in the final rank (90-100).
Thanks for replying Shan. It just seems odd that while we almost always get the threshold reward crew's 5* clothing (which is usually an item build from many-dozens of other components/equipment), this week we are getting a 4* item that is made from 4 2* items that can be obtained from cadet missions or faction store/missions. In fact, by the time most people get to the 150,000 victory points needed to get the 4* IDIC, they will probably have picked up the 4 2* ones that they need just by playing the event.

Yeah, but there should've been ENG in there, don't you think? I mean (without getting into any big spoilers here), didn't he build that little robotic spider in that one scene?
Could you please continue the petty bickering? I find it most intriguing. ~ Data, ST:TNG "Haven"

Wasn’t that just a listen device on the spider and that was probably given to him. However, based on the preview for this sunday’s Episode it could be SEC.
"Festive Dax"? Really. You're just determined to keep that darn Michael Burnham out of this Discovery event, aren't you? We got a 2* Saru, but no, there's no way we could get "Boorish Mostly Vulcan Burnham 2*" or "Ugly Gold Convict Jumpsuit Burnham 2*". Oh, how you torture us, DB.

Personally I prefer a Jadzia over a Burnham. She was a fun character. Michael we don’t know yet and I’m sure she’ll have enough versions in the near future.

Its kinda sad actually for the finale. Considering the last time we had Ambassador Sarek the 4* IDIC was threshold but much earlier on in the list.
I'm wondering, though, if this is in response to several threads I've seen in the past with people complaining about too much gold gear in their inventory that was not usable for some reason or another.
(Shrug) Is it sad that I'm not even that disappointed, but it almost meets expectations?
I take it that this version of HFM and Sarek are from Star Trek: Social Justice Warrior? I want to make sure because I make it a point to airlock any character from that slop and these will be going the same way if they are.

Just as an addition, I also find it kinda funny that his items lower than level 90, have at least one where the 4 star IDIC is a crafting component. I know it meets the criteria outlined, but it has the perception of weak sauce. Just kinda sad.

I'm torn. On the one hand I'd like a better component, but on the other hand, I've had plenty of occasions where I craft the item for the skill boost before I can reach it in threshold rewards. Personally, i'd have picked the 5* Vulcan Meditation lamp. That way it's a 5* component, but it's also usable for more characters than the event character.
Shan: Blood Oath Jadzia is not giving the correct bonus, and Ambassador Sarek is not giving any bonus. This is affecting us; please fix these as soon as possible and give updates. Thanks!

There's a thread in engineering already and she's having the folks up there look at it.
Mudd is also tied for 2nd place for most series appearances (1st if you don't count the Enterprise finale), TOS, TAS, and DSC.
Even if you don't count the ENT finale, there are at least three characters that hit 4, one of whom his featured in this event:
Scotty (TOS, TAS, TNG, DS9)
Spock (TOS, TAS, TNG, DS9)
Sarek (TOS, TAS, TNG, DSC)
Don't forget that McCoy was on TNG too. (And it took me a while to realize what DS9 ep you were counting!)
Don't we see McCoy in that DS9 ep as well...Dax talks about his hands.

Nah, they haven't introduced that version of Sarek yet:
I think they need to slip in that art for Ambassador Sarek and then use the TNG art for a proper 5* version of Sarek. A little cheesy but it works.
I also have to admit when I look at James Frain's interpretation of Sarek, this part of me keeps seeing Ferdinand. I keep waiting for him to shoot someone and engage in questionable sexual practices.

Just because you don't like the options doesn't mean you have no way to do it.
Thanks, are the FF stats for Mudd/Sarek available? You've gotten so good at providing the 1/x stats that it seems like the FF stats got missed.
Just like every other week, they're in the post in Starfleet Communications.
Please note that tagging does not work

Please confirm that the threshold rewards has been intentionally reduced.
Every prior event, the 2nd to last threshold reward gave a 5* character-specific item for their L100 equipment.
This event is awarding a generic 4* IDIC reward in that slot.
There have been prior events where the final reward was incorrect and it was corrected either after the event or during.
He's in episode 7 too.
