What criteria are you using to say these are 'rare' ? I think the daily rewards main benefit to newer players is the chance of a useful 4* for Voyages and Events - by that criteria I'd say only La Forge is worth having there from the ones you mention. Obviously bridge crew are the ideal since they will be featured more.

I’m not sure how they measure ‘Rarity’ of each crew but I have noticed in the Cryostasis Vault an option to sort them by Rarity & it does arrange the crew into a particular order other than alphabetical.
Then afterwards it organises the crew you haven’t acquired in the same manner.

Even though they were only in 1 episode and only briefly seen as a projection, without them, we wouldn't have most of these characters. Plus it could be a nice eng/ med/ sci combo.
I haven't really had a good chance to get Captain Lorca, so... I would like to see a Prisoner Lorca. Has there been a "jail break" event for all the characters with prisoner traits? I'd like to see both of these things happen together.
