I got 61st place. I believe I would have gotten top 25 and a second Data if the bonuses worked right. DB is now compensating me with a second Data. I am happy with that result. I am getting the Data I would have had with proper bonuses.

The announcement doesn't address any sort of arrangement for people who purchased packs or portal offers to get the legendary event crew that turned out to be useless. Will that be handled in the individual tickets? Or do you consider that part covered with this compensation arrangement?
From a player perspective I don’t get how it’s reasonable to ask for more than this. What exactly did you think that investment was going to get you other than 1 copy of data in the event rewards, which was made up for in the compensation.
The event crew still provided some advantage in the faction portion and even in the galaxy if you bought enough packs to ff the event crew.
I’m personally happy to get 2 datas for a finish around 600-700th. It was a better result than I expected to get from having all the event crew ff/fe.
I bought several packs to get the legendary crew, and they turned out useless for the galaxy part. I do think you're right, the Data was what I was aiming for and I got him now. Haven't got the 2nd yet but I'm sure he will come.

From the announcement: "Thank you for your participation in the Captain’s Oath event despite the issue affecting featured crew and variant crew during Phase 2.
We will be sending all players who participated in the event a bonus reward in the near future. This reward will be dependent on a player’s event rank:
• The top-ranking player will receive 50,000 Honor in addition to the ranked rewards they won.
• Players ranking between rank 2-1500 will receive a bonus copy of H.M.S. Pinafore Data.
• Players with the event rank 1501 or lower will receive a bonus 18,000 Honor."
Should the 18,000 honor be for "Players with the event rank 1501 or higher""? That is, all other players in the event who did not rank #1 to #1500 will be receiving 18,000 honor.
