Jean-Luc Picard: "We think we've come so far. Torture of heretics, burning of witches, is all ancient history. Then, before you can blink an eye, suddenly, it threatens to start all over again."
Hello, i was playing a skirmish at 630 est, the game locked up and now when i log in i get stuck at activating warp core, is this related or an outage?
The issue is not our end, servers are up and running normally.
If there is some outage impacting global connectivity, it is not something we can control.
Yeah it’s still not playing properly here.
WiFi works but very slowly.
Also hearing reports from players in other European countries on different providers, which points to maybe a peering issue across to east coast US and I’m not sure DB have good redundancy in place to cope.

Whoever you use for connectivity should have good redundant routes/peers. If they don’t, then it’s time to shop around. That is absolutely in DB’s control.
Failing that, set up a European server perhaps? Just saying “it’s the Internet so it’s not our problem” really doesn’t wash.
Well, there is an outage of some kind. But how can the game be affected exklusively while i am still able to post here? I mean this should also not be possible if it was an overseas issue? But anyway- thanks for the info, Shan!

Update: After a while there's an error.
So... No game for me then?
