I think Star Trek Timelines is quite profitable. Every week they are putting out those deals and Tuesday packs and every week people are buying them. Now they have campaigns and many people are buying those which is even more revenue. I only played the Game if Thrones game a little but it seemed like the problem with It was that there was not as much to do or buy. It also required people to be into a show or the books that had not been around as long a time as Star Trek has been.
I really hope the game isn't ending anytime soon, but keep in mind it isn't ONLY up to DB. CBS could pull the license if they want to. Also a game like this with a popular license needs to make more money than one without, CBS needs their cut.

CBS and Paramount just get the license fees. Profits from the game belong to DB.
So what happens to those of us who play on Steam or Facebook and don't get ad warps. Are we just out a free copy of a 5* crew?
Yes, just like you're already missing out on about 2/3 of the cadet mission rewards, another Dabo Wheel pull, and around 500+ chrons worth of high-cost missions farmed for free every day.
[GER - SF] Star Fleet - recruiting active captains with event participation. Our Starbase is level 134 and we use the Line App (optional) for spam, bragging, jokes, motivation and sharing tactics. German language.

Try Bluestacks or another Android emulator for your PC. I usually play on Steam (Star Trek Timelines seems to have a lot of connection problems on my iPhone for some reason, making it basically unplayable), but I use Bluestacks when I NEED to do an Addwarp.
On Episode 10, any suggestions on how to crit the following:
Ruinous Staycation - Synthesize Anti-Aging Serum - MED 1060: Civilian, Exobiology
An Infinite Welcome - Watch Television - DIP 1097: Mirror Universe, Brutal
For Infinite, I've tried 4* Mirror Georgiou, Young Khan and Bajoran Dukat to no success. No idea who to try for Staycation.
(Also apologies if this isn't the thread for this sort of thing.)

Bartender Guinan should be able to hit that MED node with a good roll, and most Phloxes (except Mirror Phlox) should also have no problem. Crell Moset, The Keeper, and Dark Ages McCoy are other 5* options. For 4* crew, Toby Russell could do it with a good roll and a halfway decent set of bonuses and Edith Keeler should be able to do it with a stout enough roll. Rianna Mayweather might be able to squeak past with the trait bonus and a max roll.
I did the DIP node with Mirror Shukar. Assuming you don’t have him immortalized, try Mirror Ezri, Mirror Uhura, the Borg Queen, Bajoran Dukat, Diseased Changeling Founder (who probably needs a max roll), regular Changeling Founder, Chancellor Gowron, Locutus, or an immortal Crell Moset with a good roll.
I'm happy about Q and Episode 10 and all things Continuum. Except for searching for them. Here's a request... DB, please change the Q trait to "Continuum".

"Continuum" is MUCH easier to query than "Q"
I can't tell if that is sarcasm. The problem with Q is that such a search includes all crew with a q in the name.

@Mirror Cartman started a thread in Make It So. It might be worthwhile to stop there and drop a comment so DB knows we would like some easier ways to find Q's.

Not sarcasm. I was frustrated during a Q event when searching by "Q". A manual search ended up being faster.
Shan also told us the two updates are for future expansion and ability to add new features. They just launched the campaigns as well, I think we’ll have a game for a while yet.
And the company behind Marvel Avengers Alliance kept saying that the game was going on for years. The last two months it was active......
And that Season Three was "about to be released".....
"The truth is like a lion; you don't have to defend it. Let it loose; it will defend itself."
Yeah. People acted the same about what I was saying when MAA did not have a movie Special Ops tie in for Captain America: Civil War.
I was not wrong then. I hope this is not a bad sign this time. Wrapping up the Raisin Detour for a game is usually not a good sign. And people are saying Episode Ten "solves" the Anomalies? Take it how you will.
I will be glad that giving them cash right now is not even an option.
Wait. Did someone say that Dilithium drops in the new Chapter? Along with a Node that Drops a 5*?
That really feels like the way PlayDumb rushed out Chapter Eleven and Twelve of Saeson Two, and then started handing out Gold for simple accomplishments. {The ingame purchased Currency.}

Star Trek: Picard is on the horizon. We don't have Cheesecake Seven yet. There is plenty of profit potential. Barring a disaster, I don't see them shutting down before they cash in.
Lorca projection: Minimum of one year remaining.
That's not even accounting for Lower Decks and Season 3 of Discovery.

MAA did movie tie in Special Operations right up until Captain America: Civil War. There have been several MCU movies since that one, but MAA did not last long past it........

It was like when 5*s were mailed out, and you could get dil for just immortalising 1* characters fished from voyages by the hundreds.
Timelines just died, like, months after that. Sad times. Wonder what the DB staff are doing now? Living in dumpsters? Sitting by freeways with cardboards signs with "I designed Cowboy Worf" scribbled on them? Sat in bars discussing those heady days where they could fling out a Mirror Picard for free and watch a BBS set itself alight like a war-protesting monk.
Oh wait, that never happened.
Hold your horses Nostradamus, they could be winding down, but I doubt it'd be so obvious, and if they are, they are.
If the next Mega is an All Good Things theme, you can do the catering for the crow for us to dine upon.

All I am saying is I have seen bad signs before. Not saying it is happening. But, it sure does a good job mimicking what happened in other games.
If someone can point me to another Episode that dropped 1000 Dilithium, I will apologize for jumping to the conclusion that it was a bad sign.......

You can go through just about any episode of TOS, TNG, DS9, VOY, and ENT and still come up with new characters. For example, we have Zhian'tara Odo, but not the Dax imprints on Sisko, Leeta, Kira, Quark, O'Brien and Bashir.
Pull up any episode of Star Trek and you can find at least one new crew card.
Heck, they've barely scratched the surface on TAS!
If someone can point me to another Episode that dropped 1000 Dilithium, I will apologize for jumping to the conclusion that it was a bad sign.......
There's also never been an episode with such high skill requirements to hit the critical nodes. Increasing rewards makes sense for increasing difficulty.
Let's take a moment to talk about the new Quinn. Solid stats -- will be useful in voyages. But what about traits? Wasn't he considered a prodigy among the Q?

I don’t recall dil drops in past episodes but DB has been freer with dilithium awards elsewhere - just look at the event ranked rewards table and campaigns. Value for dollars/time spent in general has gone way up compared to where it was early on and I take that as a good sign - DB’s sales and participation are robust enough that they feel they can loosen things up a bit and not hurt their revenue stream. Whatever else is in development, Timelines is still the cash cow that keeps the lights on and has a lot of earning potential yet to come.
Things have changed - that is certain - however it didn't feel like an ending to me. More like movement on to a new phase.
Could it be wrapped up with a Mega? Sure. Anything could happen. But I would be very surprised to see it. The game obviously rakes in a fortune.
The only reason the game would be ending is if the company itself is going out of business due to its failures with the other games.
Jean-Luc Picard: "We think we've come so far. Torture of heretics, burning of witches, is all ancient history. Then, before you can blink an eye, suddenly, it threatens to start all over again."

I sincerely hope it is all that. I greatly enjoy this game. hate for it to end. Not saying it is ending. Just saying it is always good when certain signs appear, to not just dismiss those signs. it could signify either situation. Growing thriving game would be the best thing for it to signify.
I won't discuss the other possibility any further.
