So, Loken is a gold because he was played by Ron Glass,, yes? Because I legitimately don't remember his character at all.
I'm also curious as to how he would fit into a Q Continuum mega, unless it won't start until the second weekend in August.
I also choose to believe that Loken is a legendary crew based solely on the Ron Glass Effect. Remember: “if you can’t do something smart, do something right.”
I wonder which version though. TOS or Enterprise. I hope TOS cause that version has a cooler outfit.
Word a year or two ago was that, like Robert Walker's Charlie X & Roger C. Carmel's Harry Mudd, Celia Lovsky's version of T'Pau was a no go on getting approval.
Did anyone else notice how little DIP is in this event?
And another reason for me to regret not taking that Dax in a behold
(at the time it made sense for me to take Mirror Beverly instead, but I ended up getting inquisitor troi the next day.... or was it other way around? either way, I now have an abundance of med)
Oh wow! I had no idea they were the same person. Guessing she will be a cultural figure since she became the Vulcan leader
as an aside, before Enterprise aired, T'Pol was going to be a younger version of T'Pau, but due to a rights issue, it would have been a lot more expensive. The name change from T'Pau to T'Pol came shortly before filming the first episode.

Oh, that is interesting. I think it worked better to have a different person. Otherwise the canon police would have been going nonstop.

I'm thinking Gods & Masters rerun ... that event they need to find a ship to get to a new paradise and there's deception going on ... kinda fits the character of Loken if what I read on Memory Alpha is correct.

There was very little known about T'Pau other than she turned down a seat on the federation council. There is nothing in the early seasons of Enterprise that couldn't have been true of T'Pau.

But that would be another galaxy ... ugh.
That would be fantastic for me. Sybok is one of the few purples I still need stars on, and I’d love a third Durango star.

I could also use Sybok and Durango stars, but there's little chance of my chronitons and inventory being rebuilt enough by the 1st for me to even clear thresholds.
Numbers folks, is this the first event where none of the 3 main crew have any variants at all? Seems a poor choice for a faction event, Spock and Jadzia or not. This would have been a better roster for a Galaxy event, or Skirmish. Many in my squad are planning to sit out due to the lack of bonus crew for a small/casual crew.

Loken is not a favorite of mine. I think the stats will determine how hard it try. If he's two skill... Probably just hard enough for top 1,500.

I’m counting 10 5* and 5 4* with exobiology. Dare I say I’m stacked?
We just finished our rewatch of VOY less than a month ago at my house, and I still had to look Loken up on Memory Alpha because it was such a forgettable Harry Kim episode. It’s not the reward that bothers me, but the fact that none of the 3 main crew have a single variant ingame for a faction event. This feels like it was meant to be a Jadzia, Spock and Phlox event, and not really an event for any of the advertised crew. The Gorn is so terrible, why not just use Mirror Phlox or (I’m ready to get flamed, this is a joke!) 1701 Dax? Just a very bizzaro set of crew, in my eyes.
Edit: I have every Dax, and every Spock, and all the Phlox’ but naked. My fleet however doesn’t spend near the time/money I do, and they are hurting this go around. That was the root of the original question.

I tend to prefer faction events with less event crew, as it feels more strategic.
Having said that, I have 8 x 5* crew (not all immortalized) and 9 x 4* crew (all immortal), in addition to Gorn Captain (immortal) and Dr. Pollard (1/5). I'm feeling pretty good about this event, and hopefully some RNG luck will add stars to my Dr. Pollard.
With the exobiology trait they've basically added variants of three well-loved characters (Spock, Jadzia, Phlox) plus a handful of others, so I don't see the problem. The only challenge will be how many COM-SEC slots are on the shuttles for the Gorn Captain -- I don't think there's a single exobiologist who specializes in that skill set.

Captain Spock has plenty of CMD. Gladiator Spock he the SEC. But yeah, I don't see the combo outside of that.
Hmm, COM/SEC will be tough. I have a total of 9 event/bonus 4/4*s, 5 1/5*s, 3 2/5*s, 1 each 3/5* and 4/5*, and 4 immortal 5*s but only a handful have either skill as a primary or secondary. Kal-if-fee Spock, Gorn Captain, and Gladiator Spock will have their work cut out for them.
T'Pau is clearly going to pick up the Kir'Shara artifact and poke the Gorn in the eye before he can throw the rock. The Gorn will then fall backwards dropping the rock onto himself. Dr. Pollard will be unable to save him but using her medical skills will be able to preserve his skeleton.

If I think it means what you think it means then I’m pretty sure that’s what it means.

August should have five Thursday. So Mega may not start until second Thursday.

Good thing she brought a doctor with her.

I thought Pollard was like, "I'm not going to be able to fix this."
