It took more pulls and a broken vow to not spend but I finally got Data Q (along with a Q2 and a surprise Laborer Spock from a behold with Rejac and Goddess of Empathy Troi)...then I noticed something a little odd:

    ssyamukap0xq.jpeg

    Huh? What am I missing?

yeah sci is in the announcement stats...
    Fully Fused Fully Equipped Level 100 Skills: DIP 622 (73-163), SEC 337 (53-135), SCI 858 (164-322)

The proficiency numbers are presumably reversed and should be 34-49

I just finished leveling him and the “max” proficiency does eventually become larger than the minimum proficiency somewhere past level 50...I just found it funny that he would start off with the minimum roll higher than the max roll, and wondered how it would look when trotting him out on an away mission at that level.

You should have tested it and seen. I wonder if it crashes.

I had to know. I rolled a 51 for the record.

Now that is just funny. Glad it didn't crash all the servers though.

So, not sure if I missed anything, but Data Q is a variant of Q, not Data, correct?

5 bucks says SCI primary, it’s the only Q primary skill still missing. Perhaps akin to Human Q but with the ENG and SCI flipped?

Just got an ingame mail. That has been changed. Data Q is Data after Event. Datas count this Event as Small Bonus Crew.......

    Profession skill is 49 - 34.

    It's flipped.

Awesome that Data Q will also be a Data variant.

I could kind of see it both ways, so glad they fixed it that way. If anyone but Blood Oath Jadzia Dax, who is the Godfather of three Klingon Families, puts on Klingon uniform, they get Klingon Trait.

But, if they had not changed it under the argument that it is not really Data, I could see that, too.

Sorry it took so long and for the late announcement but Data Q is indeed considered a variant of Data.
For this event, variants of Data will also provide a bonus.
This has been announced in Starfleet Communications and via in-game mail.

Thanks for the clarification @Shan! But one last clarification please...will he count as both Data AND Q, since technically he was Q pretending to be Data? Or only Data? #ocd

I guess I'm not seeing it. Amanda is fine. Quite solid. A typical 5* in mid-2019. But her 1/5 base stats are a bit weaker than some recent ones, and her rolls are somewhat below average, so her only real use after this mega will be voyages. Until someone posts the obligatory "she's the ## best voyager in the game" stat, I'm not overwhelmed by her potential there either.

Don't mis-understand. She's very nice, and a nice gift for fans of the character/actress. I just think the love is - maybe - a bit overdone. I'm happy to be convinced that I'm wrong.

    Amanda Rogers
    FE 1/5 level 100 ENG 276 (63-121), SCI 892 (180-391), MED 522 (125-276)
Her overall voyage score is mediocre, but she does have the #9 Sci score and the #11 Sci/Med combo. Her skill set is no longer as rare a it used to be, but is still highly desirable, and the only legendary who has the same skills in the same order is Phlox au Naturel (whose numbers are very similar).
She also has traits that come up quite often

As for shuttles, she has the #5 Sci base, and the #4 Sci/Med combo, though she'll rarely be event crew. In the arena, she's good, not great, with 6 second evasion. A gauntlet nonstarter.

She's a good not great crew. Her skill combo means that she can find a spot on voyages quite often for the vast majority of players, and she can contribute toward shuttles from time to time. For newer players, she'll also help in the arena
On the flip side, she's useless in gauntlet, will rarely get events, her skill set is not as rare as it used to be, and her voyage numbers are nothing special.

Cool thanks for the break down, I probably would of went for her anyways cause I love the Character, but knowing all the pros and cons definitely helps;)

What kind of stats does a 5* puppy have?
  • I'm using only one 5* in this skirmish. After some testing rounds I figured, that this lineup with three 4* on the bridge is the best for this skirmish. I'm pretty surprised, normally I have at least three 5* on the bridge...

My question is, what does it take to build a puppy?

    Furs, and Auth codes.

No, no, it's synthesized polymers, just like chocolate ice cream and potatoes. :D

I'm having incredible luck with chrons dropping. With so many tickets stashed away, and some really great clear times running the skirmishes, I think I'm in a good position to clamor into the top 1500.

Except I'm camping Sat-Tues and won't have cell reception. Jazz Riker, cue the sad trombone.

I certainly don't regret the trip, but it still smarts a bit. Hopefully I get high enough tonight that I still manage my last star on Dolim.
