I did not really want her but hey - you take what you can get... And I have to admit that the puppies are really cute.

There must have been quite a jump from there. I only had around 1.25 million.

I haven't done an event in a long time so it was pretty ok. Thursday to Saturday were oddly quiet but sunday and especially monday were ugly. I got 850,000 to be certain.
the really weird thing is that this was the first skirmish event that worked properly for me. usually it costs me upwards of 5000 chronitons to get the same score. this time i broke even on chronitons. so i have gained some more appreciation for the event type.
Jean-Luc Picard: "We think we've come so far. Torture of heretics, burning of witches, is all ancient history. Then, before you can blink an eye, suddenly, it threatens to start all over again."
5* puppies required science experiment and incense. That cracks me up for some reason. I'm glad DB crew creator team has a sense of humour.
I want to know why the puppies require alcohol. I mean, I realize there was abundant use of alcohol on the show and we know that DB must really like adult beverages based on the incredible amount needed on most crew. They also have multiple ads for alcohol and alcohol ice cream that don't belong on the game. But alcohol for puppies? That is a bit much.
Congrats Paladin and the other top players. Major props to anyone who can click up past my limit of 1.6 million. It is daunting even considering doing all the clicking to get to 5 million much less 10 million. Now go ice those hands top players and get some carpal tunnel surgery.

congrats to everyone!!! what i'd be interested to know is...when you get that high, do you still come out net positive on chronitons?

Some Chron totals for me this event:
143k chrons spent on running missions
40k net decline, probably about 5k of that was from thresholds, voyages and daily activity, so really down 45k from the event.
I did get extra 10 dil boxes on about an eighth of my loot box rewards, so thats an extra 11K, without that I would have been down 56k
That matches the general rule of thumb that you get back ~60% of the chrons you spend once you are on 1200 intel skirmishes on epic.
I finished on 1,078,500 VP and ended up at rank 525. That was fun! Gee whiz, I love skirmishes. I personally divide events into:
1) Skirmishes
2) Things I put some token participation into while hoarding chronitons for the next skirmish.

60% sounds about right. I went in with just a shade under 30,000, spent about 15,000, and am currently sitting just under 26,000. When accounting for chrons from other sources, 9,000ish is probably pretty accurate on the tots returned from bonus rewards without additional purchases.
I used 12,000 chrons (with supply kit activated) and made back about 10,000 chrons, between threshold and battle rewards. I also made 10,000 honor and a single premium pull (200 honor). That got me a 548 rank (I didn't check my point total). I was quite happy with the ROI this skirmish!

If you do not mind answering, I am curious how you got so many chrons? Did you skip multiple events? Did you just try to get top 1500 in multiple events but not top 200? Did you buy that many chrons? A combo of all three?

So not quite sure how to answer this, so apologies if the answer is a little disjointed.
I finished my back log of leveling all first copies of golds and ff purples sometime around March or April of 2018, after starting playing in July of 2017. Even at that point I had saved up some chrons from voyages (maybe 15-20k in early 2018), but after that the growth really escalated from voyages.
Skirmishes were another game changer. I currently track inventory of every galaxy item (there are about 100), plus all 3 and 4 star components, 2* databases, and a handful of other items that are very common in crew builds. I have set targets for every item and gradually inch the galaxy item targets upward. Keeping in mind that anything farmed in a skirmish is basically done at a 60% chron discount with a side of honor, my goal is to never farm an item that can be farmed cost effectively in a skirmish outside of a skirmish. The skirmishes where I only play 8-10 hours are are basically just replenishment ones to restore spent inventory and don't really add anything to long term targets.
A lot of my skirmish play has been financed with the 10 dil boxes. While I haven't bought the chron packs for 9.99 since 2017, the 10 dil boxes are another matter. It's something like ~10k chrons and ~10k honor for ~7k dil, so its a better deal than the 9.99 chron offers and comes with honor. While this last skirmish I only did boxes on 1/8 the loot box chances, the first skirmish I won I probably did them on 1/2 of them. Other skirmishes have been maybe 1/4 or so. Doesn't completely get rid of the chron expenditure, but mitigates it a lot.
The $25 packs recently with 3k/3k/15 have been another source of chrons, they have been somewhat frequent recently so it's increased my run rate on adding to my chron balance.
From a galaxy event perspective my main account skips top 1500 on a lot of galaxies (will get top 1500 on all factions/skirmishes/hybrids, though I try to get all the hybrid vp from shuttles) and just get's the $99 event pack. Only exceptions are if the event is looking really low scoring, or if a rerun is next and packs are 1/20 instead of 1/10 for the new gold. So I normally don't use a lot of galaxy items unless I'm going for top 5 in the galaxy or hybrid.

804,850vp to finish 1476 and barely scrape inside the top 1,500. I am tapped out.
It was worth it.
Wow!!! This was a tough one. I’m glad you got in and received your Amanda!
I like even better that starting at 3* they require 2* alcohol. I've never had a dog, much less puppies, but that sure explains a lot...

It’s the genetic modification that has me a bit concerned...
