Since the upgrade there are multiple threads with multiple complaints on all platforms. Visual errors. stalling, slow or sudden frozen or quit games. Voyage freezing or not giving dilemmas. Time portal not working correctly, new adds not giving the actual double rewards or not in dabo all day for free spin. The msg center for fleets is slow or non-responsive. The starbase is malfunctioning. The galaxy map and all screens have been cut off from full view complaints of too zoomed in or zoomed out deprnding on the player. The cryo vault is malfunctioning. Sooooo many complaints from all platforms. It has been 6 days and there has been no response to an obiously flawed upgrade.
How about you DB programmers fix what is broken before placing more upgrades. And how about some more testing before you send out updates since there are always problems with “forced” upgrades. There ate still existing problems from past updates that were never fixed such as ( log in, claim a shuttle, then suddenly the pop up offer or event infor screen runs right over your shuttle screen). Simply put overlapping screens. This has been 6 mo going on and never fixed. Lets fix what has been broken or is now not working correct with this new update before changing/adding more problems.
OK, lost a skirmish due to a frozen crew list. This means I've lost the skirmish credits, and now can't enter the event through the 'Enter Event' button; I get a message telling me this phase of the event is over.
Platform: Android (latest) on Alcatel U5. (Not that I like either of these much, either).
Ok, just tried again. I'll call this temporarily resolved, but the credits are still missing,
Today using the same event crew as yesterday none of them are getting the "deals 400% damage" or whatever their individual amount is. Run something like 20 battles, 40 individual presses of their skills. Now i know you can miss their shot, but 0/40? Skills working just fine in arena or map levels, only issue has been event.
Cant in good conscience spend anymore money on a game that i get little in return...cant FF crew cuz im spending all my damn honor i get on rep rations...its insane..I'll extend voyages with my dilithium in the hopes of getting rep rations or even a super rare crew but i get neither and i waste my dilithium in the process...im done...thanks for taking boatloads of my money and making sure i get absolute dick in return DB...

It's more than that. I was on track to get a lot more from the event, too. I got most of the way through the thresholds in the first day. Normally I either don't get them completed at all or am rushing right to the last minute or seconds of the event to try to get to 130k. I have never finished the threshold rewards before the last two hours of the event. This was a landmark event for me. But a whole day out of it doesn't help, and I have no clue when I'll get access again. I still had to trade in my 100+ rare items, for example, and had two and a half days of playing left, as well as not yet having the fourth star on the 4* threshold crew by *thismuch*.
I know there were some problems recently for other people trying to get in, and I don't see anyone else posting that there are any issues for them now, but I have tried loading the game on home wifi, tethered to a cell phone (different provider than the home internet), and tethered to a cell phone in a different country (various providers while roaming - day trip), and not a single one has allowed me access (and yet I have access to everything else on the internet), so I know it's not my end.
If it were affecting more people I would understand the slow response (but would expect to see some kind of update about the mass issue), but since I have literally not seen anyone else post with this issue (or much else)...It's hard to believe they're swamped with problems and don't have time to get back to me and get me back into the game after this long.

The reality of DB support is it often takes 24-48 hours minimum for them to respond to your initial ticket. You're likely to get no official responses at all on the forums on a weekend either unless it's a mass issue effecting everyone.
Just as a thought while you're waiting for support. Do you have another device or a PC (Steam, Facebook, Android emulator) where you can try running the game from to at least get you on for the moment?

You've tried deleting and reinstalling the app in case something is somehow corrupt (assuming you know your log in info to get back in to your game account)?

The UI for the new iphones are terrible. I went from an iPhone 6 plus to an iPhone XS max.
Apparently searching the forum others have posted the issue existsed since the iPhone X, but its absolutely atrocious. It is not optimized for the new interface.
All that has been Band-Aid fixed was zooming in and stretching it across the screen.
When I select crew for missions, I only get to see 2 crew instead of 3, and they take up half the screen. I'll post screenshots later.

To be able to post a new discussion your forum account needs to be old enough and you need to have enough points to reach rank 2. This measure is necessary to counter spammers.
It is explained up to a point in your profile and we are looking on how to improve this by explaining it in a welcome email as well.

I really am trying to be patient. But I've been unable to lead the game for over 3 1/2 days and am getting closer to losing even more than I've already lost. It is really frustrating to sit by knowing big things are disappearing from my account and be able to do nothing and still have no response whatsoever from DB support.

My Gauntlet broke in the cycle ending today. I could not play matchups on official platforms. Android, Steam, FB. My skill boosts were not included. Now there is get a server error on startup and in gauntlet page. Gauntlet page is blank with an unmoving 99D99H99M99S timer on top. I think this was connected to having a splitting of accounts due to email vs FB connection. The FB is now completely defunct. I have filed a ticket.
So I'm not sure if it's an issue or not, but these three rare crew never drop.
Commando Crusher and Kruge are in the general pool and drop for me regularly, Tourist Jadzia is still limited AFAIK and was only available in the event where she was added to the game.

You are registered if you have a forum account, I believe. In any case, your DB ID is the number up on the top corner as the game leads. Save that.
